This was fried in wagyu beef fat. So sinful but so good. Gone in seconds.
I must say that Lucky Bo does this really well with their Josper oven. The first thing that hits you is the aroma and then the size! Yes, who says size doesn’t matter? In this case, it does.
Grilled Spanish Octopus served with mash potatoes, roasted red pepper coulis & paprika RM45/plate
Duck Jamon & Rocket Salad, first time trying this dish, find it quite good. RM36/plate but parking and Jalan Bangkung At Bangsar is crazy.
The name occurred to me that the place would be for casual Malaysian dining. Then we walk up to a restaurant dressed in wine glasses and dim lights and we realise it was not what we had in mind. I'll have you know that the surprise ended well. Albeit its upscale appearance, Lucky Bo serves down-to-earth dishes crossed between European and Malaysian influences at fairly affordable prices. A craving for soup led me to their Venus Clam Tuak Broth (RM18), an ingenious play on the Chinese delicacy with Sarawakian tuak. Overall, I'd likely return to this Asian gem hidden along Jalan Bangkung's slew of bars and European restaurants.
