Bought some Blackforest smoked ham and butter rolls from Cold Storage yesterday and decided to raid the fridge for other ingredients.
1️⃣ Soft boiled eggs (though they are slightly too cooked)
2️⃣ Yakult orange juice
3️⃣ Assorted buns: ham & cheese, peanut butter & banana and butter & sugar

Mum pan-fried the Carrot Cake ($23.80 for 500gm) and served it with some chye poh and garlic. The generous amount of dried shrimp and Chinese sausage which were already in the cake, made it really fragrant.
My personal favourite is the Nian Gao ($23.80 for 540gm). After frying it with egg, the soft and gooey brown cake becomes a great dessert and snack!

MyKuali's Penang White Curry Vermicelli with lightly marinated steamed chicken and mushrooms. All I needed to cook this meal were a few minutes and a small kettle of hot water! Also, a cup of VitaCoco natural coconut water at the side to douse any fire.

No joke, they are seriously named Man Bars. Taste wise, reminiscent of blondie.
I was addicted to this during my trip to Malaysia last year and they have recently improved their recipe. The noodles are more springy and the roasted belacan lends a fuller aroma to the noodles. Would recommend to put less water while cooking so that the soup is thicker.
