Mum pan-fried the Carrot Cake ($23.80 for 500gm) and served it with some chye poh and garlic. The generous amount of dried shrimp and Chinese sausage which were already in the cake, made it really fragrant.
My personal favourite is the Nian Gao ($23.80 for 540gm). After frying it with egg, the soft and gooey brown cake becomes a great dessert and snack!
