I came here with my partner for a Tuesday night dinner and we had such an amazing time — delightful service, classy ambience, succulent steaks, and innovative sides. I absolutely love the Fried Camembert, a starter which features croquettes of oozy camembert goodness accompanied by pickled jalapeños and truffle honey. We treated ourselves to a 2GR Full-Blood Wagyu Denver and a Jack’s Creek F1 Wagyu Deckle for steaks. The steaks had a glossy sheen of marbling and were melt-in-your-mouth tender. We also ordered the Creamed Kale, which is a refreshing play on the classic creamed spinach, and rounded our meal off with an indulgent House Baked Cheesecake. Fat Belly is definitely a must-visit for steak lovers and I can’t wait to return for another lovely meal.

I had the Grain-fed Flat-iron with Red wine steak sauce, accompanied with asparagus and sauteed mushrooms. The sides were really nice, especially the asparagus - perfectly seasoned. The red wine steak sauce was rich and decadent, and paired well with the steak! There were other sauce choices to choose from (such as mushroom sauce), and I do want to explore them the next time I dine.

I had the steak at medium rare, and it turned out perfectly! Though my jaw got tired after a while and I had to slow down (sigh weak jaws of mine...), each mouthful was satisfying, even by its own (without the sauce). Also, a small shoutout to the cornbread! It was my first time tasting one, and I was pleasantly surprised. Rich sauce, which brough a whole new layer of flavour to the steak dish. Do give it a try!

One of the biggest impressions left on me was the atmosphere. Just a stone's throw away from the MRT, it had a quiet and laid-back vibe, which made the dining experience really comfortable (especially after a long day). They also had an outdoor sitting area, which would be lovely with a nice evening breeze. The staff were friendly as well, but not too friendly that it made the dining uncomfortable..! Overall, an experience I appreciated. (:

A place with great vibes and service!

I had the Fish Tacos and the Bouillabaisse (a seafood broth with dory, prawns, clams, octopus and ciabatta). The beer-battered dory was nice and hot, giving a satisfying crunch to the exterior and perfectly cooked fish inside.

I was honestly pretty apprehensive about the Bouillabaisse as I've never had it before... and I was not a huge fan of seafood but wanted to try a soup dish. It ended up being a pleasant surprise! The broth was rich yet light, with great seafood ingredients. Although i had the soup by myself, I felt that would taste best when shared with everyone at the table, and slowly consumed throughout the meal.

Overall, a satisfying experience at the communal place. would come again!

A comfy dinner place with great affordable korean food! The Crabmeat & Roe Riceball ($12.90) I got was not only delicious, but enjoyable as I rolled them into small rice balls. Though you can also consume them from the bowl, I highly recommend giving the interactive experience a try as it also brings forth another type of flavour bomb as you eat it bite-sized!

The ingredients were also perfectly seasoned, developing into a tasty bowl of rice after a thorough mixture. Highly recommend the rice ball series.

The Beef Bibimbap ($10.90) was also extremely flavourful and filling, with each variable ingredient nicely seasoned and just the right amount. The bowl is accompanied by a small plate of Gochujang sauce, which allowed me to adjust the flavour profile accordingly when I am in for an added kick of flavour. A satisfying dish.

The service was relatively efficient, and the place also has a nice atmosphere to dine over a conversation with friends.

My evening at Meadesmoore was delightful. Great service, nice atmosphere and amazing food. I ordered the Chef's Special, which was around 128SGD. Personally, it was my first time trying some of the off-cuts, so I was a little apprehensive - but it turned out to be a humble and eye-opening experience.

The Pig's Head was rich and creamy, paired nicely with the caviar which added a balanced saltiness to the mouthful.

I really enjoyed the steak cuts, be it together with the sauce or just by itself. The cuts were juicy, soft and very pleasing to eat. The tomato salad was a very pleasant piece to the whole meal as it provided freshness to the course, allowing me to take pause and cleanse my palette before diving for more.

The course ended with a rich tiramisu piece. Albeit rich, the texture was airy and soft which made it easy to eat after such a luxurious meal.

I will definitely come back again, especially with friends!

If you are looking for broths that pack a punch, this is the place.

Super impressed by the depth of the broth! What a flavour bomb. I got the Supreme Prawn Noodles, and really enjoyed how the variety of ingredients complemented each other so well. Each mouthful was flavourful.

I also ordered Ngoh Hiang on the side (Prawn beansprout cake). Having that additional crunch paired with the delicious chilli served as a nice break from the noodles, and opened up my appetite before diving back into the flavoursome prawn noodles.

There may be a queue outside, but its definitely worth the wait!
