Babba doesn’t take reservations on weekends so be prepared to wait or pick an off peak hour. I reached at 1.30pm on a Saturday and while we were given a 30min waiting time, we were seated by 1.45pm. While on the pricier side, the food was pretty delicious. Most online reviews cover the Buratta Tartine and Crab Omelette but we went with our usual palettes and were still satisfied. We got the Truffle Mushroom Tagliatelle ($22), Cod Fish and Chips ($24) and Smashed Avocado Tartine ($17). For drinks, we had a Black ($4.50), Iced White ($5.50) and Matcha Latte with Oatmilk ($7; Oatside btw and you’re welcome 😉). The cozy and brightly lit space comfortably sits up to 40-pax, and the staff are swift and friendly. For their dinner menu, I might bring my family back to try although I would have to be prepared about price persuasion. I’ll be back but that’s a review for another day.
