With the Burpple Set, we could try their signature hamburg steak which is favourful, savoury and juicy, and pork tonkatsu which the batter is deep fried to crispiness without being oily. Both beef and pork are fresh and of good quality. Definitely my Japanese go-to restaurant in Singapore! In fact, we have been here a dozen times.
This is one of my favourite restaurants on Burpple, and probably one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Singapore too! The restaurant is definitely underrated for the quality of the food served. Hamburg steak is juicy, succulent and grilled to perfection. Unagi is also grilled perfectly without overly soaked in teriyaki sauce. This Burpple set is served with Niigata Japanese rice and fresh salad in sesame sauce.
Burpple Double Dragon Fire Ramen includes 2 bowls of Fire Ramen (Shoyu or Shitake Mushroom base), 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 green teas (hot or cold). Total bill is $19.90++.
The experience is definitely an unique one! Upon ordering, the service is very quick. When itβs your turn, you will be called to the counter to put on your apron, and the staff will hang your phone up to capture the fire moment! π₯
We can taste the char taste in the Shoyu soup, and the chashu is very lean. The bowl comes with lots of spring onions and some corn.
Overall experience was great, will be back again.
