Would not recommend this dish, had a hard time finishing because it felt stodgy (jelak) and pasta was slightly overcooked and thin for my liking.
If you’re deciding between Eleven Strands and Tipo, go to Tipo please, it’s half the price and 2x as delicious, promise. Pasta at Tipo is al dente and their pesto is nicely balanced with acidity.
Props to the staff at Eleven Strands though for allowing modifications to the dish; prawns can be swapped out for bacon or mushrooms 👍🏽
