Food Review
When you get amazed at the starter, you know the rest of the meal is going to be crazy good. The food didnt disappoint and the staff were extremely attentive to your needs
5/5 for date night
one of the best steak dinners ive had - every dish was such a huge surprise. the highlight of my night was the lamb rack that was extremely soft and tender, unlike usual lamb cuts ive tried before that are dry and tough. the gamey taste was strong, but it was so pleasant, enjoyable and paired very well with the seasoning. strongly recommend giving the lamb a shot, even if that might not be your usual choice of protein! topped off the dinner with the tiramisu that was so authentic and tasted amazing as well. overall a fantastic dinner and definitely will be back with loved ones!
had the steak which was cooked just nice to the doneness that i loved, and paired perfectly with one of the best fries i ever had in a restaurant. the ribs were sweet and juicy and at the end my companion and i were really craving for more! overall loved the ambience and food, and would come back for a casual date night ā¤ļø
p.s. only thing is that they close early on weekday nights!
thoroughly enjoyed the experience here - service was fantastic from start to end, and combined with the luxurious interior and vibe, made me feel so taken care of while dining!
dishes were on the pricier side, but expected for its location in orchard. had the wagyu flank steak which was thick and juicy, rawness was just nice too (but note that you only have the option of medium cooked). scallop risoto was really flavorful and the scallops alone were so delicious and fresh.
heard that they came up with a unique 'fine dining in a kopitiam' kind of concept/vibe and was really excited to try!
we had a half-course (6 items) and was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the seafood! the hyugo oysters was absolutely my highlight so delicious and sweet i LOVED it. the turbot fish was something i never tried before and was definitely a very memorable dish too (the dish in this picture!)
overall a rly unique experience and a to-go for too quality seafood ā¤ļø
ive been to other Fu Lin outlets and the menu here was actually really different (and delicious!)
ordered the seafood grill set which includes a lobster, squid, fish and prawn - all grilled to perfection (got the char taste yknow)
iberico pork was also succulent and wonderful although i wished there was more
cozy location in the centre of clarke quay - sad that there are some construction works around at the moment but itll be a great place to chill with friends on a friday night!
absolutely enjoyed my experience here - everything was perfect, the food, service, ambience - 10/10 would come back!
my favorite was the octopus pasta: there was such a generous serving of octopus for the price paid and not just that, the cream was soooo good and paired so well with the octopus!!
bone marrow was very well-seasoned and savoury, although the meat was a slightly less but still a wonderful dish to try if you enjoy bone marrow
lamb shank was extremely tender - the meat was falling off the bones! probably the best ive ever had
finally topped it off with a bottle of wine that really just added to the whole beautiful ambience of the place sitting at the top of suntec city. cant recommend enough how amazing this place was, and at a veryvery reasonable price too!!!
really enjoyed everything about this place! food was fantastic -
Fish and chips: fish was extremely fresh and a very generous portion too
Beef pie: beef was so tender and savoury - this was hands down my favorite of the meal
Beer: also got two Guiness half pints and it paired with the dishes so perfectly
overall a great experience and would be back again for a chill evening! :)
delicious (and very cheesy) meal! shoutout to the mac and cheese that was a good balance of taste that wasnt too light or too gelat :) finished off the meal with the pomegranate mocktail which was so refreshing!
I've heard about dumplings ru so many times before and really excited when they opened a new store at laupasat!
items tried:
chicken & pork dumplings
borscht soup
cheese and mushroom pie
russian salad
my favorite was the pie, it was delicious and a perfect balance of savoury. the dumplings were also an interesting "angmoh" take with a really juicy filling paired nicely with sour cream! overall really generous portions and friendly service :)
ordered the 2 pax set and everything was so delicious! best part of the set was the sake which topped off the meal perfectly š we also added their mentaiko rosti which was so surprisingly addictive we got a second portion. overall loved the ambience and food, would definitely be back again!
tried their popular beef rib stew and the meat was soooo tender and smooth! it was a really hearty dish as well with many different ingredients in it, that came together so well to make a really flavorful stew. we also ordered the kimchi cheese pancake which was like a fusion korean x western feel, kind of felt like a creative pizza š¤£ heard a lot about the kimchi bacon tamago and we had to get it - it balanced out the other heavy-tasting dishes very well with a mild sweetness to it which was just nice. topped off the meal with the melon soju which was AMAZING sweet and addictive āŗ
