The coffee here is pretty memorable with the cold brew having rich notes and their bakes are great for sharing too, got the kouign amann and croissant. Wished it's heated up!
Too pretty to eat it for sure, and it remains v crispy as we slice into it. The pandan looks a little too green but we enjoy it and it tastes authentic. (~$5)
Love this friendly neighbourhood store which shares hearty breakfast at friendly prices, I had the tamago sando which was so creamy, soft and served refreshingly cold. Its a perfect start to the day. Paired it with a gao hot Milo :)
$5.50. deserve all the support!
Lovely place for chilling with wide variety of brunch options. Love the waffles and crisp fried chicken with maple, and they have many unique flavours of coffee. Quality is assured here (~$30 each with food + coffee), love the latte with coconut flakes
In need of a countryside escapade, we came here for lunch, in the sweltering heat. It's a cosy place with warm owners (who strums guitar and wishes guest a happy birthday!) and this lovely and colourful platter of Nasi Lemak.
It's $12 for this spread, with my favourite being the Otah, Farm veggie tempura, kranji eggs, crispy chicken wing. Farm to table is a big element here.
The Warrior's curry chicken was also intense in it's flavour, accompanied by a crispy prata (that is more like a fluffy crispy bun) - $8
Come here for the farm tour, stay for the food
Spacious and inviting, this place serves up quite a broad range of brunch food - and at nett prices!
Pancakes cravings are met here and it's topped with creamy, overflowing eggs. Add on that dash of honey, butter and it makes a perfect brunch. ($6.50). Would love to come back to try their mushroom omelette, or their sourdough and bakes!
Plus they have books here too. (Although the music may be a bit loud for reading)
Maybe overdramatic until you try this french toast, crisp brioche toast exterior matched with its warm, melty eggy body, crusty banana and Greek yogurt. Plus points for some dainty flower petals. This proved that French toast isn't just for breakfast as we had it for post dinner dessert. ($22) š
The classic cheese burger wasn't as juicy as we hoped and came with slighty cold fries. The brioche bun was nicely toasted and fluffy ($28). For burpple one for one, it's really worth it.
If you love cheese and mushrooms, this glorious sandwich will be extremely satisfying. Grilled brioche with stringy cheese and earthy mushrooms, coated in a rich dill mayo for $13.20 (incl GST) was more filling that expected. However the dill mayo may get a little too rich after awhile. Also, it comes with chips by default, but you can opt for Rocket salad with vinaigrette too!
Ps. Definitely a good brunch place, though not advised to study here during weekends, and power plugs not avail on sat/sun too.
There's a queue even if you come here at it's opening hour of 8am on weekends, testament to how trusty this breakfast place is. A call out to the good o' breakfast diners in hongkong, the prices are kept reasonable, wide range in it's menu and you have to be patient while queueing.
I love this creamy scrambled egg on warm, crispy toast. The eggs are generously overflowing and tastes creamy and not salty. Plus, it's for $3.30 nett - what a steal.
Ps. Warm luo han guo for $1.50 comes in a large serving
