the āsidā ale was good!! it was pretty light and crisp, reminding me of a kronenbourg, and the light taste really helped to cut through the heaviness and oiliness of the dishes.
pls get the kimchi carnitas fries everybody!!! itās probably the best loaded fries that we had in a long long time. their fries had the perfect texture (slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside) and the flavor is super on point! i really enjoyed the generous amount of kimchi and sour cream which added an additional dimension to the otherwise salty and spicy dish. also, they were really generous with their toppings too. at some point, it felt like there were more pork than fries (though we would had preferred it to be the other way round).
i personally loved the korean poā boy. the galbi short rib was well-marinated and tasted exactly like what i would get in a good korean bbq. also, the pairing of pork belly and sour kimchi could never go wrong. however, the downside was that they were too generous with their meats which made me feel like iām eating a korean bbq bowl rather than a burrito bowl. also, there wasnāt enough sauce that weāll normally get in a mexican burrito making the entire dish a bit too dry. will recommend it to those ppl who love meat and wouldnāt mind losing the mexican component of the dish.
the baja fish tacos was nothing special tbh. the fish was well fried but thereās not enough seasoning. despite the copious amount of sauce, it tasted v v bland and fell short of our expectations.
