burgers 🍔

first time at this vegan joint! the steamed mushroom patty had a substantial bite and was, quite surprisingly, almost meat-like in texture. the mushroom flavour was quite mellow, not too distinct or overpowering.

lettuce was fresh and truffle mayo was creamy, though lacking strong notes of truffle. bread was soft and fluffy. all in all, i think this is a burger that would be well-accepted by many :-)

this was the classic beef burger with lettuce, raw red onions, tomatoes and their special sauce. simple but really delicious :-) the beef was well seared, with a natural beefy sweetness. though the patty is not the thick and juicy kind, it is quite big and tender—definitely good beef used.

thought i would miss the cheese that’s normally in burgers, but the tasty, savoury sauce made up for it! the vegetables were fresh and helped to cut the greasiness as well. overall, a really simple burger that’s not greasy and won’t leave you feeling too bloated like many other burger joints. got the sourdough which was soft and fresh, but tasted pretty normal.

would recommend topping up $5 for a side + thirst quencher + hot drink but was too full this time 😢 also the interior is really pretty and naturalesque, with many greens and wooden decor :,)

the burger featured a tender, thick and juicy chicken leg that was really delicious. the smokiness and the tenderness of the chicken really stands out here; coupled with the tangy salsa and runny fried egg, this burger was bursting with sauces and flavour. liked this better than the beef burger, perhaps because it’s more unique. was definitely impressed.

patty was tender and juicy with a nice beefy flavorful. sauce was also really tasty and complemented the burger well without overpowering it. buns were slightly too thin for my liking but overall a solid burger.

+ the side of truffle fries deserves a shout-out too! hot, crisp and lightly salted with a pleasant truffle flavor, definitely worth an order.
