Greetings from Okinawa! 🇯🇵💕 it’s my first time here😊 checking out one of the must go places: first Makishi market✨ it is under renovation so there is a replacement building nearby. 1️⃣it’s smaller than I thought and catered more for tourists2️⃣the seafood prices can be crazy hiked up - 10000yen for a small lobster?! To note: add 500 yen for cooking fee on the second floor3️⃣ if you are looking for a restaurant to eat check out dotonbori - from my observation it is the most locals - visited booth👀 their soba noodles are handmade and sashimi slices delivered directly from the stores below. 👍 so far Okinawa has been a quiet quaint spot even though I’m in the heart of the city but still things aren’t cheap here! This simple market booth meal cost 4200yen in total🤔quite different from mainland japan🌝

For local food: everyone online seems to rave about this place for authentic local Okinawan cuisine✨there is a 15-30 mins wait at dinner time, supported by the locals (quite a few singular visitors - good sign👍) for simple ordering: go for their set A Which includes 9 highlight dishes. Their braised pork stew is the must get - it really melts in your mouth🤤 add on their squid ink yakisoba and dinner special seaweed tempura👍 those who can drink get their awamori which comes in their Okinawa ceramic flask😊 matches the whole theme💯 it all adds up to 7200 yen for 3 person (including squid ink risotto as well) definitely worth going for a local cuisine experience 🇯🇵

🍣 BEST CONVEYOR BELT SUSHI EVER 🍣 I swear by it, so far I have not found any sushi restaurants better than this even in Tokyo👍❤️ if u wish to recommend do comment or dm me - bite me😂 just look at the sashimi to rice ratio! Where is the rice?🙃 all the seafood is super fresh it’s just amazing🙌 if I can I will even fly to Okinawa just to have sushi here😊👍 it’s that good🇯🇵💯 best of all 16 plates for 4200 yen??? I think it’s really affordable for the quality and quantity✨

🍕 pizza in the sky ⛅️💕 this place took quite a route to get to🙈 pls drive safe! 🚙✨ but it’s definitely worth it👍 highly recommended to come slightly before opening time at 1130am to get your desired seats! 😊 it’s more than just the incomparable view🤩, the local antique ambience🥰 but their confidence in their simple menu of only one kind of pizza 🍕😎 which nailed it😍 it came smoky hot with crisp crust and melty cheese 🧀 with sweet corn and pepperoni👍 simple awesome goodness on top of the mountain at the edge of the ocean☺️✨
