Don’t waste money on disappointing stuff, only save the best for your stomach.

Although this place is known for their tarts. The almond croissant here is pretty decent too. Nice flaky and buttery exterior with a good coating of almond.

Very well executed piece of art. Lychees were definitely soaked well in alcohol. Cream was light and the sponge was soft and airy. If I’ll have to choose just 1 cake, this will be it!

Although they are more well known for their cupcakes, I prefer their tarts. Hidden beneath this plain looking chocolate tart reveals a thick gooey layer of salted caramel that gives the sweetness a good balance.

The disappointment when the chocolate is not gao at all but pretty watered down version. The base was not even crisp. Nothing here invoked any excitement but much sadness to finish it. Money, not well spent. And this was so hyped by all the bloggers. Ordered this from @chanfamilybakery

Available at selected NTUC outlets for $1.80 if you don’t mind the queue. Overpriced pocky riding on the branding as usual. Coffee taste was faint, if not negligible. I’ll rather stick to my original chocolate flavour.

Totally paying for the jar here as the cookies amount to about 10 pieces. Cookies have a buttery fragrance and rich chocolaty composition.

Definitely not getting this again. The ‘mild bitter’ chocolate coating the potato chips tasted pretty sweet and milky to me. Wasn’t as intense as I would expect it to be.

Unlike the usual buttercream with earl grey, I am very impressed with Antoinette’s take on their earl grey cake. Milk chocolate mousse infused with earl grey, chocolate biscuit, raspberry coulis and earl grey tea crumble. Just look at the chocolate filled layers. Definitely worth the calories!

Soft, moist and fluffy. The pandan was fragrant and I can easily wolf down half of this on my own.

No doubt the cookies were fragrant but that’s about it. The pandan taste for the cookies could have been stronger and less dry.

Riding on the year of the rat with some rat shaped buttery pineapple cookies. Be careful with the rat’s tail as it’s pretty fragile. So don’t play with your rat too long before popping it in your mouth.
