Decent at most. Wasn’t mind-blowing, could probably find better ones in other Korean restaurants but I guess if you’re craving for tteokbokki you can give it a try!
You can choose to add Mozzarella cheese with an extra charge.
Don’t expect regular tortilla chips in this platter. Tommy Thongchai does exquisite nachos made with deep-fried wanton skins topped with flavourful meat gravy!
I remember medium being huge enough to feed 2, you can also get an extra large for RM28!
They’ve warned me that it’s going to be spicy, and I can’t deny the fact that even as a spicy food lover, I was sweating a little. But that’s only a small price to pay for the best dish of the night.
Yes it was spicy, but I’d rather describe it as “so spicy it actually gets addictive at one point and I wouldn’t mind downing the crab curry even if it means I’ll be having a hard time feeling my tongue”
It goes SO well with the jasmine white rice. We already had a plate of pad Thai, but you can’t miss out on rice when it comes to Thai curry!
Creamy, flavourful and filled with crab meat (not to mention spicy)!
PS. I still dream about this dish at times
Honestly not a huge fan of gizzards, but I just HAD to try this.
The texture reminds me of squid; it’s coated in a light, savoury batter and stir fried with dried chilli, hence it can be a tiny bit spicy, but not too extreme.
It’s great as a snack/appetiser!
My first time here! Had the Pad Thai (to start) the feast and it was AMAZING. So flavourful and the noodles were cooked just right. It’s loaded with bean sprouts, tofu cubes and prawns! So good I wanted a second plate but still gotta save some tummy space for the spicy feast.
Yummy! Loved this for a starter. The mashed pumpkin was creamy and sweet, spread generously on the crispy baguette slice, then topped with beef bacon bits.
FINO is a newly opened pizza parlour nestled in the busy streets of TTDI. Here you’ll find delicious thin-crusted pies on the menu with 3 sizes to choose from - 9”, 12” and 21”.
We had the 12” for two of us to share. BONUS: get the half and half option (limited to 12” and 21” pizzas only; both options must be of the same sauce)!
Really enjoyed the pie. Crust was delightfully chewy and they did not hesitate to really LOAD it with cheese (cheese pull!).
Had the Funghi Misti and Spinach, Feta & Chicken. Both were equally as yummy but I admit to favouring the chicken option more.
The only thing that attracted my attention when this was being served was the glistening bun. So fluffy and buttered up! I admit I completely ignored the star of the show (sorry I blame the bread-loving monster in me).
The buttermilk fried chicken was just as delicious (as the bun lol). Though I would like the batter to be thicker because it fell apart just as I was about to cut through the meat.
The burger comes with a side of fries, which was also very well done! Thick cut *CHIPS* served hot. I liked it so much the bowl was empty before I realised it.
A girl needs her Mexican fix every now and then, and órale had just what I needed.
Crispy loaded quesadillas filled with all the good stuff.
You know the drill. Your basic Xiao long bao, but chicken. Bite-sized dumplings filled with chicken broth and juicy meat.
But I do wish the soup was piping hot instead!
Halal. Din Tai Fung. You heard me right.
I was 23 of age when I found out DTF had a pork free twin sister, so I decided to try it out.
Chicken chop reminded me of Shihlin’s XXL Chicken, in a good way!
Fried rice is a little too wet and could use a bit more seasoning. Definitely eat your rice with the chilli oil! It helps accentuate the flavour.
Ordered this as a set (a la carte available too)
A equally-as-delicious non spicy option. The set came with perfectly spiced chicken skewers, (again) cold dumplings, boiled eggs and slaw. I enjoyed everything they could offer.
Not to mention this was all halal so you can bring your Muslim friends along for a feast!
