The puff pastry is buttery with slightly thick texture. This body type is holding the filling (honeyed BBQ pork) well when you take the bite. The filling is quite sweet. It goes well with hot tea as a snack.
Curiosity kicks in when glancing on their Pau counter. Round, plump and inviting, this Phoenix egg is a should-try.😋 There is not much grease despite it being a deep fried item. Chicken, pork & boiled egg as fillings are flavourful and complementing each other.
This fares better compared to pamelo Sago with mango. Crunchy pastry with nice eggy center. 😋
💡Tips: go for their weekday dim sum buffet ($26.80 Per px).
Skip this Pomelo Sago with mango juice (colorful but taste slightly artificial) and go for the next item! 🏃♂️
A nice choice for vegetarians. We would prefer more green in the dumpling as it is slightly plain with mushroom and carrot.
Of the whole dim sum baskets we enjoy, this is a winner dim sum. On the top, you will notice the whole scallop. Then bottom layer the addition of pea-shoot into dumpling filling make this not boring and has some crunchy texture. We will need to give a kugel star 🐡🌟!!
Croquette style dumpling and we enjoy this piping hot dim sum with 2 matching flavor combinations.
Siew Mai lovers might be divided on this. We think it is alright but other interesting dishes are waiting for us to explore.
The creativity pays off as the filling tastes so delish! Dumpling skin texture is also good.👌
Maybe we are not used to steamed version as we always go for fried version. It is a bit too soggy for our liking and hence will skip this on our next visit! 😧
Pastry are hot & crunchy. The BBQ Pork filling has nice aroma & taste. Worth ordering. 👍
Nice chill dessert can hardly go wrong. We will try mango sago next time but stick to our usual dish now.
PS. Pu-ehr tea $1.61 each and wet tissue $0.21 each (GST and service charge applied)
