Simple dish but put together perfectly. Black beans, ground minced beef with cheese and sweet corn lying on a flat bed of rice. Pretty heavy on the palate and order if you are hungry. Wholesome meal.

Tacos de Asada (marinated steak) and Tacos de Pescado (grilled white dory) were our choices of the meal and they did not disappoint! Our preference was the grilled dory as it was fresh and meaty. The flavors also came through beautifully and complemented well with the hot sauces - could be stronger though. Last but not least, how can we forget the wonderful handmade corn tortillas that capped off a wonderful meal. The servings are small though.

The pulled pork burrito, accompanied by Mexican rice, black bean, cheese and sour cream has layers of flavor coming through. However it can be more intense. Relatively light which is unusual for a burrito, it gets better with the hot sauces which were relatively mild as well.

This new establishment along Amoy Street opened by the Loco group brings you fast casual Mexican food that’s similar to their sister establishment, Super Loco.
The star is definitely their chicken. The birds are organically fed, antibiotics & hormone free and free range. Each bird is brined for 10 hours, in a secret blend that’s got a splash of agave nectar, then basted with herbs and spices like dried oregano, mustard powder, and achiote, and cooked over flames for an hour. What you get, is wonderfully tender and flavorful meat! Pair it with any of their sauces (extra charges apply for each sauce). Their habenero & mango sauce is recommended and gives a nice citrusy lift. Order their street corn too!
Price: from $9 for a quarter
