I liked that each piece of the 555 Tom Yum Oat Chicken was crispy and nicely coated with tangy tom yum oat crumbs. But I thought the tom yum flavour could have been more pronounced. Same goes for the popcorn chicken, the seasoning falls slightly short of the punch I was hoping for. But don’t get me wrong, both were still pretty enjoyable overall! The Thai milk tea was a good drink complement for the chicken, as it was refreshing and not cloyingly sweet.

Premium Smoked Wagyu Burger: Tender, juicy and mouth-watering Wagyu patty, together with mashed potatoes, yellow onion and BBQ meat sauce stacked in between buns, this delectable burger will definitely keep you wanting more!

Root beer freshly poured from the tap and served in an ice cold mug, so fresh and good; with vanilla ice cream on top too. Takes me back to my childhood days man, just so different from say drinking from a can. Tried the waffles with ice cream too, but that was bad.

While walking around City Square Mall, i decided to check out this relatively new burger joint and was pleasantly surprised by how good (and not to mention affordable) the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger was.

The fried chicken patty was juicy and tender, drenched in a savoury salted egg sauce and came in a generous portion too for its price. The only complaint i had was that there were very limited side dish options (the only choices were onion rings or baked japanese sweet potato).

I’ll definitely be back again if i’m craving for some burgers.

Tried the newly launched mala chicken from KFC and i enjoyed it. You can taste the mala fragrance on the crispy skin of the chicken, although i feel it could have been more spicy.

The McGriddles is finally back too after it’s previous release last year during the FIFA World Cup period.

The delicious chicken sausage patty sandwiched between soft, maple-flavoured griddle bun with additional egg is just irresistible!

Oh boy, i’m so glad that the chocolate pie from McDonald’s is back! Had been craving for it since their previous release last year.

I love its gooey chocolatey interior that is perfectly balanced & not too sweet while the exterior is a crisp pie pastry, so yummy!

First time trying the food here from this Malaysian based fast food restaurant chain where they serve 100% halal fried chicken, burgers, finger foods, rice, porridge, desserts and beverages.

I went for the lucky plate, which consisted of 2 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, whipped potato, bun and also a drink (you get unlimited free refill of your drink if you opt to upsize your meal).

The fried chicken was pretty good; crispy skin with juicy tender meat. I liked the fried bun & coleslaw too, but the whipped potato was pretty tasteless. Overall, this place is a good addition for fried chicken options in the area (along with Arnold’s & Jollibee).
