Love love love this noodle stall! The dry ban mian is well cooked and coated with dark sauce and chilli sauce. The noodles come with meat balls and a bowl of really delicious soup! There’s usually along queue during peak lunch and dinner hours, so odd hours in the afternoon is the best time!
Knew about this stall after watching NOC Food King and decided to try since I was in the area. Ordered the super value set which included curry chicken, vegetables, omelette and rice for $7! The curry is definitely one of the best I have eaten! Thick and flavourful curry with fall off the bone tender chicken. The Assam fried fish curry was also good. Recommended!
Ended up at Lai Lai, because Tang Express didn’t allow us to use Burpple on Sunday. But this was surprisingly good! I gobbled down the whole bowl of Lu Rou Fan. My Friend ordered the mee sua. We claimed our Burpple voucher and the bill was just $10. Great place for a cheap and good Taiwanese meal! Will definitely be back!
Located near King Albert Park & Beauty World MRT, the Royal Thai Boat Noodles & Bar serves fuss free and cheap Thai food. The Boat Noodles with Pork was $3.90 for a small portion or $6.90 for a normal size. The soup tasted herbal and went well with the rice noodles. I will be back to try other dishes, as recommended by Food King NOC!
This is my favourite stall in Bukit Timah Food Centre. There is always a queue, but it is definitely worth the wait. Love the fried shrimp crackers and that spicy peanut sauce!
Located in the koufu food court on level 5 JEM, this stall serves really decent Thai food at a reasonable price. $5.90 for this huge plate of Tom yum fried rice. Definitely one of the better ones, flavourful and palatable. Try it if you are working around Jurong East.
Travelled down for supposedly the best prata in Singapore! The prata was great, nice and flaky but not the best I have tried. Try it if you are around the corner but probably not worth the trip specially for it.
