Thai / Vietnamese Food
Ordered fried pork chop with rice noodle, deep fried spring roll, vietnamese sandwich with braised beef and coconut. The deep fried spring roll is very crispy yet not oily. The portion of the rice noodle is just right - but better to order one or two side dishes. Service is a bit slow given there are only 2-3 waiters. Be prepared to wait - it’s full house at 6pm on Saturday.
Had mixed platter, mango salad, Deep Fried Sea bass with Chilli Sauce, Pad Thai, Fried Kang Kong and Fried Rice with Chicken Basil Leaf. We ordered medium size for most of the dishes. Food is generally pretty nice and the portion is quite suitable to be shared among 5. I’m particularly impressed by the fried rice which is really hot and spicy.
Hidden in the HDB, this is surely a good place to have decent and affordable nice thai food. The pandan chicken is nicely flavored while the omelette with seafood we had is very yummy.
Around $32 for 2 person with drinks, rice, pad thai and two dishes. Just be mindful that food is not served as quick as we expected - our food is served half hour after we ordered.
A very refreshing banh mi which is suitable for a light dinner. The ice vietnamese coffee with condensed milk ($4.5) is nice too!
Had lunch at golden miles with omelette with pork, marinated pork, pad thai, veg and 3 drinks. $36 in total. The drinks are exceptionally cheap ($1 per each) and the food is generally fine.
Had prawn cake, mango crispy chicken and pad thai, with two lemongrass drink ($2.5). Each dishes are roughly $8-$10 with no GST and service charged. $32 for two person. This is a very popular dinner place even during weekday, which we waited for roughly 10mins before entering the restaurant. The pad thai is more on a sweeter side, the prawn cake is very crunchy yet soft inside, and the mango crispy chicken is spicy yet delicious. Overall, this is a pretty satisfying meal. The service is pretty good too even though they dont charge on service fee - we were given chairs to put our bags which is very considerate.
Had the dinner set ($27.9) with 2 appetizer, 1 banh mi and 1 pho, and 2 drinks. The pho tastes good but its a bit too much for me to finish together with the appetizers. The spring roll and the deep fried chicken bites are not bad, and provides you a variety to choose from. I should try the banh mi next time which the bun looks crispy and not too hard. I particularly enjoy their coffee with ice - great at this hot weather!
Was unable to decide what to eat until we reached to this restaurant which is always long queue and busy. Fortunately you dont have to wait for long if you are coming in a smaller group. Ordered the vietnamese vermicelli with spring roll ($10.4) and the portion is so much bigger than i expected! There are in total 8 spring rolls on top of the noodles with a lot of veg below. I wish they could give me more sauce as it is still a bit dry. Should try their beef noodles next time!
Had set lunch ($15.9, 1 appetizer + 1 main + 1 drink) today. Picked the summer roll, the dry rice noodle with pork and hot jasmine tea. All the food are fine but the noodle is a bit dry and not strong enough for my liking.
Had 5 dishes + mango sticky rice but is only two of us! Definitely ordered more than enough but you know you cant stop and the price is still very reasonable. It is one of the most frequent thai restaurant that i go!
Had chicken wings, drunkard seafood and tom yum fried rice. We asked for less spicy and drunkard seafood and tom yum fried rice but it is more spicy than we expected! We kept drinking the ice lemon tea we had as it is sooo spicy. After reading all the reviews I realized I am not the only one who feels the same. The chicken wings is great! Very crispy
You may wanna drop by if you’re around. The dry pho with meatballs and pork chop is nice but nothing special. I had spring roll and chicken wings as well but they are just okay.
