Along with your choice of softserve, each single waffle stack also comes with a piece of freshly baked Belgian waffle square, along with pre-customized toppings according to your flavour of softserve chosen. Thanks to @burpple ‘s Burpple Beyond, I managed to enjoy an exclusive 1 for 1 promotion for this! ✌🏻 The flavours that I had chosen were Earl Grey lavender and Dark chocolate Ferrero. Personally prefer the former (as featured in the first picture here), which comes with sliced strawberries and almond thins. The Earl Grey Lavender softserve bears a distinct, lingering floral aroma that was a delight to the palate, stealing the limelight from the citrusy, tannic hues of earl grey. Texture was also smooth, creamy and a melt-in-the mouth kind. The Dark Chocolate Ferrero, on the other hand, wasn’t dark enough for my liking, pretty much sweet for a dark chocolate (perhaps because it’s only 55% cacao too). Somehow or rather this flavour reminded me of Nutella instead! 😅 Along with roasted marshmallows, this flavour also comes with crushed nuts and chocolate sauce drizzled and garnished atop. Moving on to the Belgian waffles that was (and still a hit) among most customers, I am sad to admit that standards have dropped since then. The texture could have been crispier on the exterior, and the interior of the batter lacks the characteristic lingering buttery fragrance. Prices have increased, but standards have dropped to a mediocre one that I wouldn’t wish to spend my money on, if not for the promotion. Nevertheless, softserve is still great here that I wouldn’t mind having it often .

My breakfast has protein from eggs and coconut milk. Fiber from the sticky rice. Selenium from the egg and sticky rice.... Ok just trying to cheat myself. I'm just having a sweet treat for breakfast. #whoelseisguiltylikeme Who eats too much carbs for breakfast too? #burpple This kueh salat from chalk farm is so awesome! The rice isn't hard though I put it in the fridge.
Tarte by Cheryl Koh has opened its new cafe space at the second level of Shaw Centre and feature not only tarts but cakes and beverages as well. Tried the Fraisier ($10) and the first mouth went straight to my heart! The cream, sandwiched between the sponge, is delicate, moist and rich in a sweet vanilla flavour that's just right enough not to cloy, along with what seems and tastes like toasted meringue on the top. Strawberries taste fresh and sweet as well with a slight tang that goes very well with the sponge and cream and gives the cake a bit of a bite. $10 might raise expectations on a cake, but there's no doubt that this cake is near perfect - to me at least - and the only thing that needs improvement would be the structure of it; notice how the meringue is not lined uniformly on the top and the cake looks a little pressed down. Otherwise, I thoroughly loved every moment of the strawberry shortcake-lookalike and there's no doubt I'd be back here for this if I'd ever like to treat myself to a generous splurge on dessert. 😋

Love the fact that their cupcakes are flavourful without being overly sweet. There's chocolate fudge and strawberries inside! But I just read that this is only available till 30th June! 😲 A few more days to get your paws on this one. There's also a Matcha flavour available till the end of this month! Maybe I'll see you again tomorrow cupcake.

Went ahead with the staff's recommendation and oh boy, the cake was delicious! Tasted very much like ferrero rocher. The chocolate hazelnut crunch cake ($8.50/slice) was worth the try, love the buttercream especially.
Can you believe this is my first time to Lady M? Thanks to @foodgemsg's and @shitty_vince's birthday, we bought the cakes here for the celebration. I'm so glad we did, cos the cakes that I've tried are really good.

Pictured is their newest crepe cake just launched on 1 March. This came with sakura flavoured white chocolate ganache and dehydrated strawberries on top, while pastry cream between each layer of handmade crepes are infused with strawberry.

It's very light, soft, and not too sweet, with distinctive flavours of sakura and strawberries. I really like it.
A heavenly match of cold creaminess with warm soft sticky date pudding surrounded by lashings of toffee sauce. One of the best I’ve had!
