Newly opened at beauty world and their 2nd outlet! Delicious treats that are not too sweet 😋

High tea for 2. $79 for two person including 2 drinks each. Surprisingly I prefer the savouries more than the sweets. Especially likes the mushroom soup and open face with prawn and caviar. 😋 was expecting more from the sweets but it failed to wow.

Liquidy custard centre egg tarts, would make for a nice treat to an end of a meal. Plating was great on a dark plate and sprinkled with cinnamon.

However tart crust is store bought and custard was what we all learnt in baking 101. 🤷🏻‍♀️

5 times bigger than a normal lava cake and I expected it to be 5 times more shiok. However the red bean and rice cakes were definitely just Instagram amounts, rather than eatable amounts 😜. Sadly that they took some time to serve it and it didn't flow the way I wanted. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #burpplebestbugis

Still one of my fav cakes from pine garden. It has a slightly acquired taste. Or more like slightly acquired texture. Soft sponge cake w cream that has a little coconut milk and little black glutinous rice bits and topped with thick pulut hitam. Still a combi that works. And I am glad for their outpost at AMK hub. Now I don't need to go all the way to ave 10 for my cake fix! 🐷

You just got to try the OMG bing su right because it's so OMG. Honestly nothing too impressive. It's just a mountain of milk shaved ice with chocolate, vanilla and green tea ice cream. Somehow the bing sus in Singapore is just not as nice as those in Korea. Not enough pat for sure...

I love the creaminess of the durian custard! The durian custard definitely goes well with the caramel sugar.

One of the specials they have today. Orh nee cake. Yellow sponge cake with taro cream in between. I love the toasted coconut flakes but don't quite like the crunchy taro bits in the taro cream. Would have preferred the taro pieces to be the soft type. As for the speculoos cheesecake, though the tart base (& top) was made of speculoos cookies, I think the cream cheese part was a bit lacking in speculoos taste. Great cakes and I would love to come back to try their lychee martini cake.

Finally got to try this highly raved cupcake! Love the moist pandan cake with gula melaka filling an coconut topping! Quite expensive at $4 for one, but as a baker I know how much effort one has to put in to achieve this!!

When I saw that it was yuzu sour cream, I had to try it! I love the yuzu sour cream! But to be honest, it was just a fancy yuzu cheese bread in cube form. Not quite worth $4.50, but at least it was good.

Vanilla gelato w caramelised apples and cranberries and macaroon shell. I like the macaroon shell but the gelato somehow didn't feel cold enough. Hmm

My breakfast has protein from eggs and coconut milk. Fiber from the sticky rice. Selenium from the egg and sticky rice.... Ok just trying to cheat myself. I'm just having a sweet treat for breakfast. #whoelseisguiltylikeme Who eats too much carbs for breakfast too? #burpple This kueh salat from chalk farm is so awesome! The rice isn't hard though I put it in the fridge.
