Photographed is their fish burger.
Firstly, the fish burger ($6) delivers great buns as the burger was served warm and toasty. The fish fillet was tad on the small side, but was fresh and tasty. They had pineapple achar, which gave the tangy taste and mixed well with the fish and burger buns.
The fries do not come with the burger, and have to be ordered separately. The fries are nicely crispy and well-salted. Unfortunately, there is no tartare sauce to dip the fries, so mayonnaise was one other dipping sauce given.
Burgernomics is a Muslim-owned eatery and is halal-certified.

Ever had Hainanese Chicken Rice served in a burger before? @thehumbleburger, located at the new Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre serves interesting fusion burgers. The Chicken Rice Burger ($5.5), which was served with chicken rice buns, soy sauce chicken, shredded lettuce, ginger sauce and chilli sauce. The ginger, chilli, and the chicken rice buns go well together and feels like a harmonious though squashed version of the popular rice dish. The burger's rice buns look so much like patties that you can't be blamed if you confuse the buns as patties. š I added on twister fries for $1.50, and was surprised the taste was so similar to the one McDonald's Singapore uses for their ad-hoc menus. I couldn't tell the difference. The fries were freshly warm, crispy, and not soggy. Definitely a win-win combination.
Other burger choices at The Humble Burger include a few types of beef burgers, a Sio Bak Burger (marinated roast pork belly), and a portobello burger.
Hipster food choices in hawker centres are rising in popularity, and I suggest you give Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre Level 2 a go, as they have many interesting Asian-Western hawker food choices. š

Serving rice bowls with healthier options, or as they call it, "local 'bibimbap-style' rice bowls", their sub-$10 bowls are surprisingly nutritious. Their daily greens are always changing every day, which creates for an interesting weekly diary.
I ordered the Sous-vide Chicken Breast Bowl with Wolfberry sauce ($5.50 medium bowl). The onsen egg is meant to be mixed with the rice after the mandatory food photo. When I went, their daily greens for that day included the chye sim, charred corn, and balsamic purpple cabbage. The wolfberry sauce, the onsen egg, chicken breast, and the greens created a harmonious mix. The chicken breast was really juicy and mixed well with the onsen egg in the dish. The pearl rice was cooked well. I felt the onsen egg mixed well with the dish.
While I felt the meal was small, I felt full quite fast, and my gut also probably thanked me for the lower GI meal! Hoping that this store continues to bring healthier rice bowls in hawker centres. According to their websites, they were formerly studying at Temasek Polytechnic (@temasekpoly) and doing the Diploma in Culinary and Catering Management. Let's support our local hawker talents, and also towards healthier eating. I am so thankful that in Singapore, local flavours can be healthy and delicious. š
