If I could only have one kind of meat for the rest of my life, it would be BEEF! š My favourites at Yakiniku Toraji are "Diamond-cut" Harami (tender skirt) (RM63) that has a strong flavour with the right chewiness and Prime Loin (RM77) that is lean yet has abundant marbling. š You also can enjoy Mixed Yakiniku Set (RM40) at a wallet-friendly price for assorted meats - Kalbi (boneless ribs) and Harami. The set is served with salad, soup, rice and kimchi. š
300g of medium rare striploin served with jambu ulam and fries. A massive portion, easily can be shared between two small eaters. The meat was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every bite of it. Recommended to call ahead to reserve a table as the place was packed even on a weeknight.
Yamakake is usually made with Tororo (grated yam) and Maguro(tuna). Over here, they serve the bluefin tuna and high mountain yam with some dashi, seaweed flakes, an egg yolk and some soyu. I am usually skeptical to slimy food but this Yamakake was bare-able and all ingredients was fresh although I prefer to pair it with a glass of Chardonnay. RM38 per serving.
Just imagine all your favourite local dishes in bite-size pieces on one plate. Bangsar welcomes yet another fine dining spot at Bangsar Shopping Centre, RUYI and LYN, which serves assorted "sushi" in the forms of nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice and mango sticky rice (RM43 for 6 pieces). Aside from these intriguing sushi creations, hit the bar for some drinks, or go for their Champagne Snowfish Flower (RM148) served with Moet and Chandon champagne sauce for something super exclusive!
Where else can you find a salted egg carbonara better than this place? This dish of spaghetti is definitely a must try here! The sauce is so creamy and the salted egg flavor is just right! And for those who is meat lover - the pork bacon is cooked just perfectly for you.
When this arrived on the table, you knew itās going to be a sinful indulgence with that amount of Butterscotch sauce. The warm Banana cake is surprisingly soft, moist and taste good by itself. Pair it with some vanilla ice cream and velvety Butterscotch sauce will definitely lift up your mood of the day. RM17 per serving.
Of course, don't worry - the splendid cafe offers plenty of meal options for every palate out there :) Enjoyed the broccoli and co. toppings very much!
Make no mistake - it is a trending place to visit!
Just make sure you need to make table reservation ahead to avoid disappointment!
