Unripe egg with thigh & liver. The egg actually taste quite good with bursting flavour of soy sauce and really creamy. RM14 per serving.

Cravings satisfied! I’ve been coming back for years and never a day I had a bad meal here. This kaisen don is placed with hefty amount of roe, different cuts of marinated raw fish and prawn. It’s such a steal for the quality they provide. RM25.80 per serving. Top up RM4.50 for a bowl of miso soup and silky smooth steam egg custard.

Love the intense ice chilled Matcha latté by matcha hero. No sugar added. RM12 per glass.

Charred miso glaze eggplant topped with sprig onions. It’s a good appertiser to start with, wish there were more miso paste on them. RM9 per serving.

A thin Tencho spécial Hokkaido soup with eggplant, capsicum, pumpkin, carrots, Shimeiji mushroom and lotus root served with Natto and small portion of rice. I opted for extra spicy but the curry broth was a bit mild for my liking. RM19.50 per serving.

Medium rare Tepoan seared Australian sirloin beef served with garlic chips and Yuzukoshō paste. RM60 per serving.

Cubes of soy beancurd with coral leaves, fresh seaweed in Goma dressing. For à starter, this can be a huge serving, that sweet and tangy salad wets my appetite. RM9 per serving.

Deep fried breaded pork loin and cabbage roll set served with cabbage salad, brown rice, miso soup, pickled and their housemade Kiriboshi daikon. Asides from the bland miso soup, others was fine. RM45.90 per serving.

Thinly sliced prime beef and assorted vegetables cooked in a dashi broth served with sesame sauce and citrus flavoured soy. RM92 per serving.

Assorted Hokkaido Seafood sashimi served on a bed of sushi roll. There were slices of salmon, scallops, octopus, squid, Ikura and Uni but the serving was really small. RM150 per serving.

Deep fried beancurd in Dashi sauce. This was rather common dish but they didn’t execute it well. Really bland. RM30 per serving.

Grilled miso gratin eggplant with Unagi. This dish is part of Iketeru’s summer menu this month. While it turned out completely different from my imagination of a gratin, it’s quite heavy on the umami taste. RM75 per serving.
