Stirred fried rice noodles with BBQ pork, beancurd and bean sprout. 169 baht.

I’ve learnt that there’s a variations of Thai omelette. While I’m hooked on to the deep fried crispy type, the ones here are slightly different and equally good. Crispy on the outside and soft fluffy in the centre. The egg batter is filled with some minced pork served with a special Chili sauce. 105 baht per serving.

Chocolate custard topped with meringue, pair with a scoop of roasted banana ice cream and graham cracker streusel. A well balance dessert is good for the soul.

Many well known gourmets even royalty pay a visit for their famous Braised Shark’s Fin in claypot. It takes long preparation hours to make that brown sauce with chicken stock based and not to forget the tedious steps of hand pick each blue shark fin combs. This superior shark fin dish is delectable by its own or add in coriander and vinegar to lift up the taste.

Amazing farmers chicken from Landes stuffed with foie gras, served with caramelised onions and pearl barley risotto. I hardly order a chicken dish at restaurant as they tend to over cooked it and the meat might be tough to chew. However, this corn fed chicken is juicy, tender with a good stuffing and jus that balance the overall dish. On top of that, the pearl barley risotto was so good by its own as it contains leeks, jus, truffle bits and interesting texture.

Spaghetti topped with poached egg and shaved truffle served with Robuchon’s famous pomme purée. A very simple dish that doesn’t require much seasoning when you have good truffle shaved on top. Being a big fan of truffle pasta, this is probably one of the best truffle pasta I had till date.

Yamakake is usually made with Tororo (grated yam) and Maguro(tuna). Over here, they serve the bluefin tuna and high mountain yam with some dashi, seaweed flakes, an egg yolk and some soyu. I am usually skeptical to slimy food but this Yamakake was bare-able and all ingredients was fresh although I prefer to pair it with a glass of Chardonnay. RM38 per serving.
