One perk of eating at the Roti Prata house is to walk 2 mins further to grab the egg tart takeaway for dessert ($6.40 for 4 pieces) at Rochor Beancurd House. 🐣

Famous for their beancurd, the egg tarts are also very popular. We ate a pair of egg tarts warm after back home 30 mins later and had them for today's breakfast (after keeping it chilled in the fridge). Love both versions (cool & warm) although Tai Cheong's still our favourite! 👌

One of the best egg tarts we have so far in SG. Slightly more expensive than before at $2 each (used to be $1.9) but the quality makes up for it. Buy 4 tarts & you will get a nice looking long box. Crunchy pastry with soft & not overly sweet egg custard filling. Visit there in afternoon to avoid crowd.🤘

Been to this restaurant chain first time at Toa Payoh and enjoyed it then. This time we check out their Plaza Singapura branch. The menu has less choices and we tried some new items.👉

🥞 Steamed egg cake $4.00 ( NEW! For us) comes with knife for sharing (soft & not too sweet --> recommended!!)
🍘 Sesame Vermicelli $4.20 (packed with carbs & sauce) can skip this next time
🍲 Pork rib with yam (tasty grilled yam compliment well with pork ribs) $4.50
🍥 Pork dumpling in spicy sauce $5.80
🍃 Spinach dumpling with prawn $4.00
🦐 Prawn dumpling $5.30
Total bill ~SGD 35

Eye this tim Sum place for long time but never quite get a chance to be in Jalan Besar. One of the must try if you are in the area! 👌

Clockwise ⏰ Yam fritter $2.20 (little bit oily but well worth it), Egg tart $3.00 (every bites count!), Chilli Oil Wanton $4.50 (we will regret if not trying this!), Xiao Long Bao $4.50 (the juiciest pork filling).
