Artbox Adventures
Dropped by EATBOX last week to check the food festival out! I had Cake Love’s Banana Split Baby Dutch Pancakes, which consisted of 10 mini pancakes, some thinly sliced bananas, a dollop of whipped cream, brown syrup and powdered sugar.
This is decadence right there, but I’m not complaining since it is carnival food, and everyone knows it’s made for the purpose of indulging. (7.1/10) 😍😂
[ARTBOX!] On paper, this sounds like a highly intriguing and rather promising combination for a sweet treat. To my palette's slight disappointment, however, it left more to be desired. It barely tasted like salted egg, especially with respect to texture and flavour, but the curry gave it a spicy edge to it. That was…strangely appreciated. In a way, it bears the same appeal as the chocolate-and-chilli pairing. 😯 (6.1/10)
[ARTBOX!] One of those food items that look better than they taste, and to some extent, I think its façade doesn't do much to hide it.
These were store-quality donuts that were scantily iced and reeked of mediocrity. However, they still manage to win a part of my heart for their nostalgic taste. I mean, it's not a gourmet dessert at all, and given its abovementioned characteristics, it can be enjoyed by everyone. (6/10)
