I don't know if everything on their menu can be considered classic, hearty American diner grub, but daaaaaaamn son their pancakes are some seriously legit shit. It's so so fluffy ā just look at how nicely thick these stacks are without having the cakey, crumbly texture pancakes others (eg those at Clinton St) has ā while having that nice, chewy, gluten-y kinda texture! Perfect for soaking and mopping up syrup, complete with globs of (DIY salted) butter. Do yourself a favour and order these plain, with some of their daily homemade jams. Much better considering the pathetic amount of bacon served in their Maple Bacon Pancakes.
I love pork belly, and I love fried food, so this is doubly sinful but doubly shiok! Deep fried but still crumbly light, seasoned with sweet and soy sauce but not overly sweet nor salty, definitely worth the calories.

This might be the best tze char in Singapore that's under the radar. Other dishes I've tried and like are - claypot tao huey (yes, not tao kwa, but tao huey which is usually served as a dessert) and prawn roll (hae zou).
One look at this and you can already guess how sinful and calorie-laden this is. Rich and warm Thai Green Milk tea lava will ooze out of this all-black, bready fortress, making for an eye candy and a quality content on your social media. If there's one thing about Meet & Melt, it's that they can achieve the flavour of the main ingredient really well. It surprised me, when I first tasted the lava. Also, the portion here can prove to be a mean feat though, so you should consider sharing this with friends...which would be a win-win situation because you and your friends can split the cost. š (7.5/10)
You would have to pay for extra set of cutlery. The shop is quite small and everyone has to sit outside, which means no air-con. The thai green milk tea lava matches very well with the thick toast. The ice cream live up to the name cos it melted so fast before we can finish. Just nice for 2 people to share as a dessert.
