Cerdito Restaurant @ Puchong
Chewy base with crispy edges. Pork belly, shimeji mushrooms, olives with a chilli tomato base. Yum!
Although presentation was pretty, flavour was disappointing.
The deconstructed lemon tart (RM18) is my favourite among all. 3 shot glass of tart lemon curd topped with almond shortcrust, cocoa soil & pumpkin seeds.
On the side, a scoop of fried shallot ice cream. Though an odd flavour, the aromatic and savoury flavour complemented the sweet lemon curd.
Semifreddo is a cross between a frozen mousse and ice cream and has a soft velvety texture.
In frame: Belgium Dark Chocolate Semifreddo (RM18).
Presentation is simple and beautiful. Plate decorated with dark and white chocolate shavings and pumpkin seeds. Overall, it tasted just heavenly. I love that it's not overwhelming sweet and just rich enough. I definitely recommend to try this if you love chocolate.
Cerdito prides in their imported Iberico Pork from Spain.
In frame: Ribs For One (RM40) served with asian slaw and patatas bravas.
The meat was tender and slides off the bone easily. The ribs is coated with a tangy, sweet and savoury mango bbq sauce which leaves you wanting for more.
Casual, elegant full service restaurant in Puchong. Cerdito is manned by a group of young and talented individual.
Service here is very good with a couple of waitstaff around to attend immediately. They were really helpful in giving recommendation.
In frame: Wild Mushroom Cappuccino (RM15).
Earthy, smoky and creamy but could use a little more boost of flavour. The truffle foam added a nice touch to the drink.
