Heng fried oyster omelette/fried carrot cake stall! Really good carrot imo! Tender and fragrant carrot cake! Options of with prawns no prawns!
One can never forgo this side, the portion is great for four, even better for two! I have never seen so much Parma ham on a single dish, that my lovely burrata is hidden like playing hide & seek. Seriously for the price, very generous. But of course they could use better higher grade olive oil. But whose to complain.
Price: $19.50. Authentic fish and chips from Smiths. The fish was fresh and did not have a single tinge of fishy smell. Unlike the fish and chips from some places where the fish itself would be mushy (and disgusting), the fish here is firm (but not hard). The batter was also crisp, not too thick, and wasn't oily at all! Really, it is actually quite hard to find decent fish and chips in Singapore these days.
The chips were also well made. Unlike most stall, especially chain stalls like MFM where the fries are factory made and usually quite horrible, the chips here are quite evidently home-made from potatoes they buy from the market. The chips were well made and they gave a really large portion too!
If you prefer melt-in-the-mouth type of fish, I would recommend the cod; if you prefer the type that's firmer in texture, then I'll recommend the haddock.
While I really loved the unbelievably crisp dosa here (Masala Dosa, $6), the rarer (at least to me) and fluffier open-faced Pudi Masala Dosa ($6) stole the limelight. I donāt know if itās the sprinkling of spicy chutney powder or the indulgent smear of ghee, but this was absolutely lip-smacking and unlike any Iāve ever tried.
If itās your first time here, order the normal dosa and the pudi masala dosa to get the best of both worlds!
This is da bomb!! "Gong bao" fried chicken loaded with dried chillies and mala seeds. The egg-yolk looking things are actually delicious MANGO PURĆE (!!) that can be dipped in to nicely cut the spiciness from the meat šš» looking fw to return again to try the other dishes too! #amexplatinum #amexpalatedining @lokkeesg
The operation looks simple but somehow they've got the timing of the squid down pat - nothing rubbery or stringy, just bounce and crunch, bounce and crunch.
colourful dish with fresh greens, special millet rice, potato salad, fried chicken with special sauce and comes with a cup of seaweed miso soup. real filling and yummy! finished every bit! recommended to go during lunch. the lunch set is very value for money at $13.90 with a drink
This no-frills restaurant next to Merely Ice Cream serves pocket-friendly Thai food, making it a hit amongst the students in the vicinity. Come with friends and order the Basil Pork Rice ($6), topped with a sunny side up egg, and a Tom Yum Goong ($10) to share. If it's available, have the Mango Sticky Rice ($5) before washing it all down with a cup of Thai Milk Tea ($1.50).
I had the green tea yuzu. The glaze was too sweet for me, but I love the texture of the donut and the black miso caramel! ššš»
Oiishi bowl of beef and foie gras that melts in your mouth.
This is a burger that will NOT DISAPPOINT. A perfectly medium cooked meaty goodness sandwiched with onions, tomatoes, and melting cheese. And oh... turkey bacon ā¤ļø 19.70 SGD
