$22++ Lovely Pork Belly with the toasted bread and shreds of sweet potato fries! Complements well with a Cesar Salad! And also very friendly staff in Changi Jewel!
I’m sorry for the bad photo but the Roti John here had blown my mind! Wonderful flavours of curry spices, fried onions and little bit of mutton on top of the crispy toasted bread~
$14 before 20% off for opening discount! Croissant is crispy and buttered in the middle. Eggs smooth enough, and duck bacons thick enough to taste bacon (and doesn’t taste duck)! Lovely all-day brunch at lazy West Coast.
$18, choice of chicken, beef or prawn. I love savoury breads that’s baked on the walls of the oven giving that dry charred layer; and naturally this one (tortilla) is something that has the same effect! Just nice 4 slices for 4 of us; the tortilla texture was at the right crispiness - just bite through all that hearty wholesome cheesy filling and feel contented!
The cheaper option yet very value-for-money at $5.30 (excluding the flat white), it’s wholesome enough for me, as compared to other fancier stuff in the breakfast menu... though I still prefer croissants from France...
I didn’t recall my last buttermilk chicken burger here was this good; really love the coleslaw within because it’s not bitter at all and it helps create texture to the whole dish! Though buttermilk could be a tad covered up by the abundance of black pepper used for the batter, this burger sure goes pretty well today!
$15. Love the spices used for the fish burger! A decent meal over a quiet weekend afternoon. Improvement? Perhaps not overcooking the fries and fish fillet... but still an enjoyable piece 😋
Delicious food with delicious flat white! Lovely sourdough toasted to the right crisp! A tad disappointed with the service in the morning as there was only one wait staff.
Freshly fried buttermilk chicken sandwiched in white toast, cabbage slaw, cucumber slices and sriracha sauce ($16) - available on Burpple Beyond, and some say it’s better than the Cubano! It was a roller coaster ride from my first bite into the toast, crunchy chicken skin, tender meat, then my second chew into the refreshing jalapeño-sauce laced slaw, balanced off by cool cucumber slices! Eat while it’s hot!
ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS IN SINGAPORE! At $32, its crust is crispy yet doughy enough - Blue Label cleverly sprinkled spices and lots of oil on it, baked in stone oven over firewood - and the waitress is kind to serve pork salami instead of pepperoni when I mentioned to her that I don’t take beef! And although pictured with a root beer float, we love the house draft ($12) - it’s smooth and ends sweetly! Aside, they do serve wine in half bottles (at half price, of course) so it’s really convenient if you only had a small company who doesn’t take much alcohol! Definitely need to come back here to try its Blue Label State Fair Fries ($25)!
Nestled just on level 1, it’s a café so close to the MRT. One look at the menu, the words “scallops”, “bacon” and “avocado” made up a magic spell that lured me to order it! Too bad they ran out of avocado today, but they replaced them with more scallops (why not?)! The ciabatta was made just right, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside; the scallops - done just the right way - al dente and easy to bite through. No wonder I devoured it so quickly 😂👍🏼 nice place to chillax over a quiet weekend crowd!
Largest pizza I've ever eaten. There were 10 of us, we ordered 2 XXL pizza, each with two different toppings. It was quite an experience but the queue was super long! Thankfully they could accommodate us. Well for the taste... we think they are a tad saltier especially for the Parma ham.
