Can’t get enough of the insanely delish starter from Bread Street Kitchen’s festive menu! Giant portobellos stuffed with brie, cranberry compote and walnuts. Each juicy bite was a taste of Christmas— gooey brie grasping you within its tender embrace, warming you up with its nutty portobello flavours and walnut sprinkles before showering you with sweet sweet cranberry love. Ahhhhh a harmonious blend difficult to replicate (trust me, I tried) that only a true kitchen master and Christmas enthusiast could ever hope to accomplish. Teach me master! Or place it on your permanent menu! @bsksingapore

Well what do we have here? It's a giant pot of fresh seafood of which I'm too short to capture a perfectly aligned image of! At $118, this was a seriously good bargain. Fresh, mouth-watering seafood atop a bed of clams, soaking in some clear broth. You can opt to have it with mala soup, but my gang and I wanted something fresher. It was light, the steamed scampi, scallops, lobsters, clams, oysters, prawns and more, fresh and seasoned with a hint of garlic. Wows. No regrets, just lots of love. It was just the right size of six of us! #seafood Also, like steamboat places, they had a buffet of sauces, and I made the perfect dip - of course.

Started my second day at the new office with @deliveroo_sg hohoho. Just HAD to order the eclairs from @leclairpatisserie! These pretty pastries are perfect cause they aren't cloyingly sweet and just the right amount of exciting flavours to wake you up during the afternoon slump. Flavours I got: salted caramel, gula Melaka and my favourite: Ispahan - rose and lychee with huge raspberries in the Centre - refreshing bites of fruit and soft, gently sweet pink cream! #eclairs

Fullerton Bay Hotel's The Landing Point is my favourite place for high-tea. I've been to several, but this is the high-tea menu with the most number of bite-sized noms that I actually enjoy. Did I mention that it was free-flow too? The little quiches are nommy, as are the other savouries. The red velvet cakes are a little too dense for my liking, but no worries I just don't order them after the first round. Trust me, you'll stuff yourself at this free-flow high-tea while luxuriating in the gorgeous lobby that faces the Marina Bay harbour. Tall, full-length windows bring the sunshine in, and you get the full tai-tai experience there! $45++ per person! #hightea @fullertonbayhotel #thelandingpointhightea #thelandingpoint

Yesterday's tasting at Mitzo was a ball! Especially cause of these adorable dimsum snails. Guess what kinda dim sum it is? Snails. SNAIIILLLSS! They're a trio of escargot cheese puffs. Whuuuttt! I'm serious! Okay okay, I'm gonna admit, they're not the best dim sum pieces to try, but they're perfect for introducing yourself (and the little ones) to escargot - especially if you're not brave enough to try the ones sold in a pan. The meat is wrapped in a gooey cheese centre, with what I thought was potato before being shaped into a cute snail and deep fried. The little shell is a crisp, hollow pastry that has a hint of sweetness, think mantou flavours, but thinner. The puff itself is pretty filling, a starchy fried thing stuffed with hot cheese. Right in the heart of it - the little swirl of snail. It's a little chewy and tender more shellfish than chicken despite the rumors. You can get this as part of Mitzo's weekend brunch buffet. (Which I love by the way) There's a massive amount of options, from double-boiled soup to these exciting snails and the best char Siew in the world going at just $68++ per person. Also, each diner gets a lobster, abalone and bamboo clams to start the buffet!

I had high-tea with my mama yesterday. Like cheap costume jewellery in an ornate box, the delicate bites were pretty to look at, but unremarkable to the palette. It was, however, still a pleasant experience to have with my mother ^^ The tea (from @twgteaofficial) was expectional as always too! The standout item, however, was its starter. Two beautiful eggs, crammed full of moist scrambled eggs. Almost chawanmushi smooth, it's mild flavour paired beautifully with the oceanic flavours of the uni, roe and caviar that made up the top layer. Exquisitely buttery, its flavour bold and rich, the uni just blew this starter out of the water. #ilikefood You can get the high-tea set for $48++ per pax (minimum two people, non-refillable) at @antidotebar at Fairmont Hotel
