See Food? Neh, Let’s Do Seafood 🦞
Ventured into this shaokao 烧烤 place round the corner as the popular one has a long wait time.
Offering BBQ meat and vegetable skewers (range from $1), the adventurous can get more exotic options like pig heart, lamb kidney, even chicken head. Be careful though as they are heavily spiced that I accidentally choke on one and got teary. Recommend to get Tsing Dao Beer so you can gulp down anytime.
Firecracker Chicken ($14) and Crayfish ($38) are some tantalising mains to try.
Serving comforting everyday Italian dishes from morning-to-night such as fresh egg pasta, freshly stone-baked Roman thin crust pizzas & house-churned Italian gelato.
Scrambled Eggs on Toast ($11) is a fine way to start the day. Or savour the outlet exclusive dish, Seafood Spaghetti Cartocci ($29) topped with slipper lobster, scallops, squid and mussels which is seriously good too.
All-new Truffle Butter Lobster Roll, a seasonal special by @lukeslobstersg.
Fluffy griddled bun stuffed with chilled Maine lobster claw and knuckle meat , add-on @savinitartufi black truffles salsa, can I get another one please~
Catch it before it’s gone mid-March. Currently, this is available at both Shaw Lido and JEWEL outlets.
A hidden gem in an unexpected place. @raybenkingofseafood is located within a coffeeshop within Sin Ming Industrial Estate, near the Kong Meng San Monastery.
Selling only seafood soup with a mixture of ingredients such as crab, prawns, Batang fish, clams and more. Comes in 3 sizes: L ($8.80), XL ($18) and XXL ($38) and the option to add-on rice, bee hoon or thick bee hoon.
The broth capture the full flavours of fish and shrimp shells but the XL bowl, with the addition of
Lobster enriched the broth, giving it a more complex level of flavours.

Just hack it and pour your food onto the table! And with Hack It Seafood, it offers you the joy of having affordable seafood in mouth-watering local flavours at home.
Pick from four curated speciality packs (starting from $42) like Crab In A Pack or Lobster In A Pack. But if you’re like me and don’t like mussels, you can also customise your Seafood Pack with HACK IT Your Way Seafood Pack.
Next choose your all-time favourite sauce, ranging from the spiciness of chilli and black pepper to the decadence of creamy butter.
Add-on additional side dishes like the interesting Sotong Dough Fritters ($9.80) and crispy HACK IT Mid Wings ($9.80) to complete the hack it experiences!
when we step into @bakalakigreektaverna. Simple elegant with earthy tones and patterned fabrics, it reflects the easy-going Greek feeling!
Start off on a great note as we dig into the platter of dips and freshly baked pitas. Moved on to Htapodi aka Grilled Octopus ($32.90). Cooked with oregano and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, we can’t get enough of this charred yet tender octopus.
Another dish, Moussaka ($25.90) comes at the strong recommendation of my friends. Traditional baked casserole of beef minced meat, eggplant, potato & béchamel sauce, just look how creamy good it is.
Served in Maine-style (4oz), choose between Luke’s Signature Lobster ($25.50), Crab ($23.50) or Shrimp ($21.50) for your roll. Topped off on a buttered split-top bun, drizzled in lemon butter and finish with the brand’s secret seasoning!
But if you can’t make up your mind like me, go for the Luke’s Trio ($33.50) where you get to savour half of each roll. I can’t quite decide if I prefer the sweet crab meat or the chunky lobster rolls. Let me know your thoughts!

A delightful treat for seafood lovers. Rice noodle soak in the Peranakan spicy gravy filled with fish cakes, hardboiled egg and chunks of succulent half-poached lobster. Love the robust flavours and firm texture of fresh lobster that we quickly slurp up a bowl each. Can feel my mouth watering again just at the thought of having this 🤤
Feast on Sri Lankan Crab in 10 different styles prices from $75++ per kg, available from now till 31 July 2017. Love the Salted Egg and Crispy Yam Crab! Juicy crab lavishly coated in salted egg sauce with crispy yam sticks. Not to forget the delightful thick broth in Claypot Crab Beehoon.
Unagi Don aka 鰻丼 finally tried them after raving reviews from friends. An open concept kitchen where you'll see freshwater eel slay and skinned before charcoal-grilled, so counter seats are not for the faint hearted. Doused repeatedly with tare marinade and grilled to perfection, it has a slight charred skin but remains tender without any fishy taste. This leaves a burst of umami delightfulness with each bite!! Will love to head back for more soon.
