Loud music and dim lights make for a semi-club atmosphere.
Advice: Instead of braving the 'at least 30 min queue time' for eating in, opt to take-away your burger (takes less than 10 mins) and head over to Selfridges Kitchen on the 4th floor of the mall.
'Smokey Robinson' Burger [ÂŁ8.50]
Amazingly grilled beef patty which had an exterior taste of duck fat, with wonderful caramelised onions which were not too sweet. The special smokey P&B mayo was the clincher though that binded this bad boy together.

Chips with Roast Chicken Mayo and Chicken Skin Salt [ÂŁ3.50]
Not in the picture, but the chips were really crispy, literally like chips. Mayo tasted heavily of chicken and fat, which was pretty tasty but made it slightly 'gelat'.

Touted as one of "must-go" places by numerous friends, I had to try it myself. Loved the cool flat iron knife as cutlery to cut my 200g flat iron steak, which was extremely tender and flavourful. The sauces were a bit extra to me, but if really needed, go for the bearnaise. Great place for no-frills steak; don't bother with any other specials which tend to be less tasty and more pricey. Oh and did I mention that there's free salted caramel ice cream topped with chocolate flakes?

Crazy crowds and haphazard layouts hinder photography. Pray for good weather.
Food (Top Left, Clockwise)
1) Beer Battered Fish n' Chips [ÂŁ9.95]
Located in the centre of the Market, along a slip road. Batter actually contained subtle hints of beer. Halibut fish was very fresh. Choose cod for a longer and bigger piece of fish.
2) Duck Confit Sandwich [ÂŁ5.00]
Dripping wet with oil (probably duck fat), the duck confit was soft and tender, completely outshining the super tough sourdough bread and red onion chutney.
3) Banoffie Pie [ÂŁ3.00]
The marrying of banana flavours (fresh bananas topped with banana cream) and hints of chocolate in this one worked wonders.
4) Boston Sausage Burger [ÂŁ5.00 each]
Sausages were overcooked but still tasty, with the sauces trying a bit too hard. Sausage patty on the other hand was a bit too soft, blue cheese was faint, and the caramelised onions were way too sweet.

Took the hazelnut and pistachio, proven flavours for gelato and Oddono's didn't disappoint. Reasonably priced (relatively to exchange) for 2 scoops.

So they say the roast duck in London was good. I initially didn't believe it but after 6 months of not getting Chinese food I would say I enjoyed this quite a lot. Nice amounts of fat layered the firm and flavourful meat, drenched in their special sauce which added to the flavour. Four Seasons is just a few shops down so head to either of these places for your Chinese food fix in London.

Other than the fancy shopfront and the outfit, there was not much to impress. Quirky flavours only came up to a mix of artificial flavorings; getting a simple flavour would be best. Maybe I just don't appreciate bubble tea. Anyhow, it's not a bad place to get your fix of milk tea from bubbleology stores around London cause they're in pretty good locations.
As good as it gets from Burger and Lobster, springy and fresh lobsters meeting the medium crispy buttered toast. The portions were smaller compared to the one I had in Stockholm though; there was less lobster and less butter sauce given.

Cut up ribs was soft and tender drenched in some sweet and spicy sauce, but the sauce drenched the soft bun to make it soggy. Hot sauce slaw was just spicy and had not much flavour.

"I love eating. But I hate getting fat. I love eating. But I only want to eat the best. I love eating. But I'm reluctant to spend too much." The above are a few paradoxes that describe my love-hate relationship with food. Yet at the same time they define my principles for choosing the places which I love to eat: 1) Hearty 2) Tasty 3) Worthy (of my money)
