Generous amount of mango toppings and coconut glutinous rice sandwiched between light mango spongecake, managed to get this fusion cake with an Asian twist while mango is still in season.

Yeah y'all can go crazy over the charcoal toast with salted egg yolk, but I much prefer the honey brioche stuffed with Nutella! While the salted egg yolk filling overwhelms the whole dish, this one shows a clear distinction of the different flavours, giving you a myriad of tasty experiences. Buttery brioche, sweet, soothing taste of honey, tied together with the warm, runny Nutella. Watching it pour out of the toast, I was under the impression that it would be diluted and runny, but surprisingly, the flavours were still intense, but had the improved factor of a very "liu" filling. As for the elements it was dressed with, perhaps request for vanilla ice cream instead, the chocolate ice cream isn't the best, and has that strange bitterness of cheap chocolate. The whipped cream on the other hand was an absolute delight! The owner mentioned that the chef HAND BEATS the whipped cream, and in the intense heat, as the ice cream melted, the whipped cream held its shape and still tasted sweet and delicious - nothing like the canned variety.
This is very cute but also very gimmicky. So when I was served this, I was ready for a mediocre pasta because good food needs no gimmicks. I know I'm biased, who says good food can't be served with flair right? And I have to admit, I was wrong.

This sambal pasta is good! Here we have linguine served in a spicy and sweet sauce with garlic, chilli padi and fried onions, resulting in a potent base. Ingredients are fresh and aplenty with small prawns, clams, scallop and sotong. And most importantly, it was served very hot!

Crispy toast on the outside complimented with the velvety warm Thai milk tea that flows like a river when you open it up. Despite it being one of the pricer thick toasts in Singapore, it is something that I don't mind paying for again.

Japanese Sea Salt soft serve lends a nice savoury edge to the Kumamoto Purple Sweet Potato swirl, which itself was redolent of delicate floral notes. Paired with toppings such as sweet potato paste & whole chunks, warabimochi, shiratama, and adzuki beans, this is one parfait potato party indeed. The lady boss was really pretty too ☺️ #fangirlmoment #burpple #smallpotatoicecreamery
Glazed with caramel sauce, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, decorated with candied apple chips, topped with Maple Walnut ice-cream and a dollop of Speculoos butter as a finishing. 😏
Giveaway ending this Friday! If you haven't participated then hurry grabz it now! Link in bio.
Among the row of shops which were just recently renovated is the newly opened Harvest Ice Cream (btw thank goodness it didn't replace my favorite Liang Pi 凉皮 stall)! It's so brightly lit I'm sure you won't miss it once you exit the MRT Station. The soft serve was creamy and light but the the avocado flavor could be a teeny weeny bit stronger. We were also told that less sugar is added in their products so all hail healthy and affordable ice cream! Non-avocado fans will be glad to know that they serve a Vanilla softserve too at only $1.

From the same people behind Stateland cafe (yes they are in the same place!), this Mochi donut soft serve has received lots of praise. I had the classic soft serve ($14) and the Mochi donut was very unique in a good way - chewy and soft! Must try! The portion is quite big as well so I would recommend that at least 2 people share it :)
Just next to Old Hen Coffeebar is this cosy cafe, where you can enjoy a bowl of Korean shaved ice (or two!). Bingsu options here are aplenty, from fruity flavours like Mixed Berries Tickles ($15.90) and Cheesy Mango ($12.90) to locally inspired ones like Avocado' Gado ($15.90) and Chendol Melts ($12.90). Bring a few friends and order the latter to share — it is a familiar combination of attap seeds, pandan jelly, gula Melaka and red bean. Fancy a drink? Opt for Clad in Black ($12.90), a decadent dark chocolate milkshake liberally drizzled in thick chocolate syrup, topped with whipped cream, strawberries and a brownie!
Avg price: $15 per person

Ordered daily special waffle and it was Matcha today. Café in the West! Situated just at Nanyang CC. Head down to Archipelago Creamery for your ice cream x waffles fix. Purrfect!
Plated desserts are aplenty here and many feature more abstract designs, but this is one of the few that is pretty straightforward, yet fancy in its own cute and innocent form. Replicating a rubber ducky in a bathtub full of soap, the bright and cheery duck is actually a Frozen Exotic Cocktail that is set in lemongrass foam which covers the other details such as sago, fresh mango purée and Creme Fraiche pudding. This is a dessert for the Mango lovers; the flavour of mangoes were prominent through the whole dessert which was tart and sweet at the same time, with a zingy flavour from the lemongrass espuma around. Sago gives the dessert a bit of chew, but the Creme Fraiche pudding at the bottom is the one that helps neutralize your tastebuds at the end of the dessert by being eggy and cleans up the palate for a well-rounded ending.
