I vote for yummy! Wait!! Don't disagree yet! Come try Sufood's Lion's Mane Mushroom with Black Pepper Sauce first!
🍄
The lion's mane mushroom is so named because it has numerous soft spines/beards that mimics a lion's mane. When properly softened (by cooking it slowly), this mushroom will give a meaty and texture mouthfeel, making it a good meat or seafood substitute.
🍄
Making use of this fact, Sufood expertly softened the lion's mane mushroom before mixing it with eggs and seasoning to be fried. It is then served with a homemade black pepper sauce to yield one of the most delicious mushroom I've tasted.
🍄
Don't believe me? Head down to Sufood to try for yourself!

And I was pleasantly surprised that a little drizzle (not too much) of the maple syrup does go well with the chicken wings. If you like honey BBQ wings, you should give this a try.
🍖
For those who dislike sweet stuff, not to worry because the maple syrup is served separately. On their own, the chicken wings are delicious too, not overly seasoned like some places and not too bland either. Price is a little on the high side though.

Wherever you are! Just gather at The Quarters for the most delicious lobster you will ever have! Ok la! I can't guarantee it will be the most delicious but it will sure be delicious.
🦂
Imagine fresh lobster that is perfectly butter poached to yield a buttery taste and a texture that is melt in the mouth, then charcoal kissed to give it that extra magical smokey fragrance! It was definitely the highlight of the 10-Course The Quarters Experience Dinner!
🦂
As The Quarters Experience Menu will change periodically, hurry before this lobster is gone!

Happy New Year everyone!! It has been great knowing all of you thru' IG!

Arnold's FC supposedly uses only farm fresh chickens (not frozen) and fry their chickens only upon order so that they are juicy and served piping hot. The batter used is thin and ultra crispy with a peppery taste. It's also not too salty. Fries are so so, mashed is not bad. So ya, come here for the chickens!
🍗
Unlike other fried chicken chains, they do not provide a spicy version nor do they entertain requests for specific parts. To move their queues fast, seats are assigned to you after you order and you may be requested to share tables. If you can bear with these inconveniences, come try the fried chicken here! For me, these fried chickens taste better than those at most chicken chains.

It's hardly revolutionary, just spam fries and salted egg. But it's so addictive!
🍟
While both luncheon meat and salted egg are saltish, @carol_mel_cafe has somehow managed to balance the flavors so that the dish is neither too salty nor too sweet. One of the better executed salted egg dishes in my opinion.

Segregated into many small Japanese stalls selling different Jap food, it was pretty deserted when I arrived around 1pm though it's neighbor, Food Republic, was bustling with people. I'm guessing it's because Japan Food Town is pricier.
🇯🇵
I zoomed in on Bonta Bonta since that's what I came for after seeing @i.makan.sg 's post. Ordered the full sized unagi don which was served with Kinmemai white rice (a gourmet specialty rice that looks like white rice, but comes with better nutritional value and tastes better), dashi soup and a mini mandarin orange.
So shiok to enjoy a huge piece of unagi all by myself!
🇯🇵
The freshwater eel from Japan is nicely grilled to have a slightly crisp and little char. The tare sauce used is pretty good too. Just slightly sweet and not too salty. Texture of eel is firm, moist and tender, without being "slimy" (or sticky) like the cheaper versions I've tried.
🇯🇵
Unagi Kabayaki Don, S$28++. Half size is available at S$15++ (11.30am to 3pm only). A premium fresh water eel is also available at S$32++ (half), S$60++ (full) though it is flavored with salt instead of tare sauce (Shirayaki Unagi).

And indeed, their Hor Fun is not oily and not salty.
🍲
The typical Hor Fun is served with sliced meat, fish cake and seafood in a sticky & savory broth. But this Hor Fun has a more watery broth and something a little different- deep fried homemade meat balls! 🍲
While I would have preferred a little more seasoning on the XL meatballs to cover the slight porky taste, I appreciated that they are freshly fried upon order so they are hot and crispy! In any case, ask for more chilli to dip the meatballs in and they will be perfect!
🍲
The boss helming the stall is also very friendly and nice. Good food, cheap price, healthier choice and good service. Nothing more I could ask for! @the_xw Thanks for the recommendation! 😋

Their laksa Steamboat remains delicious and though prices have crept up, it is still an affordable place for small eaters. Me and hubby had 10 dishes+2 noodles and 2 drinks for S$51.60++. Noodles/Rice are S$1++ each, other dishes range from S$2 (taupok) to S$10 (toman fillet) and drinks are about S$4++. If you like laksa, give them a try!

I do! I find them really fun to have because they almost always appear in vibrant colors, burst with flavors and are pretty healthy to boot!
🌮
And this was how my tacos at @guzmanygomezsg was! I had double tacos filled with salsa and spicy grilled chicken/ spicy slow roasted pork (SGD 8.50 Nett), which were meaty without being heavy, an enchanting mix of spicy, sweet, sourish and savory all at the same time. Their guacamole (SGD 3 Nett, Small) was also done well in my opinion.
🌮
Though this may be a fast food chain, their food are really not bad. Worth a try if you are in the area. #pokestop is available too!
