Mexican
The chilli pepper takes center stage in this vegetarian dish, Poblano Pepper, that is stuffed with lots of gooey cheese, sweet corn and crunchy zucchini. It is deep fried with a coat of beer batter till golden brown and served in a bed of creamy corn sauce and red salsa, a meatless dish can be full of indulgence too!
This slow braised sweet and spicy pork shoulder tacos is our ultimate favorite of the night! Served with cilantro, chopped onions and vatos hot sauce, be sure to get a mouthful of wholesomeness. The meat was tender, juicy and very well marinated. It packs a punch of strong flavors just like how I think Mexican food should be like. The cilantro would then nicely add a nice refreshing touch to it. So happy to have tried this!
Korean-Mexican fusion kinda yummy lunch! You can't probably tell what's in it with the large servings and variety of toppings all piled up. I had a half salad half kimchi rice base and beef short ribs topped with a Japanese ramen egg ($0.80), then finished off with kimchi, tomato salsa, onion lime relish, pickled cucumbers, seaweed, sesame seeds and shallots (fresh basil is also available but i didn't opt for it). Guacamole can be added at an extra cost. It's great to have the option to have half rice half salad, keeping it healthy and it's filling too! The beef short ribs were so well seasoned and that myriad of flavors from the various toppings kept the whole bowl very interesting throughout my meal! Be there early to grab a seat at one of their 2 small tables or just simply have it to-go.
Celebrating the long weekend with some colorful tacos! Happy holidays Singapore ^^
This fast food style joint at Asia Square Food Garden serves no-frills Mexican cuisine perfect for the lunch crowd in the CBD area. Choose from burrito, burrito bowl, nachos, quesadilla & more! My burrito bowl had coriander rice, vegetarian black beans, jack cheese, salsa, onions and barramundi. The salsa had exploding flavors from the mix of tomatoes, cilantro and key lime juice which whet my appetite! The fish was lightly seasoned with garlic and lime then pan seared to a golden brown. It was indeed a very delectable and colorful lunch bowl for me!
