Grilled teriyaki salmon, quinoa, Japanese rice, black rice, spinach, corn, mushroom, onsen egg, blistered tomato, zucchini pickle, edamame, sautéed carrots
I was surprised at the generous portion of quinoa and rice with a variety of colourful ingredients. The slab of salmon was done perfectly with crispy skin and flesh without being too dry lightly drizzled with teriyaki sauce and sprinkles of sesame seed 》$18.50
A dry version of mee siam served with a slice of luncheon meat and fried hard-boiled egg 》$5.70/set
Soft tender chicken and thick curry gravy make a perfect lunch of the day. Comes with a good amount of potatoes and tau pok that blends into the gravy. Simple but fulfilling 》$8.10/set
The gnocchi is handmade in traditional Italian style with a fluffy and tender pillowy texture, served with creamed spinach sauce, mushrooms, chives and Brussel sprouts. The charred and crispy Brussel sprouts are super good, sprinkled with a generous amount of parmesan cheese. This has got to be one of my favourite dish from the menu 》$18

The refreshing and yummy salad has everything you'll find in a Thai style salad with citrusy notes and comes in a really big bowl.

with sesame seeds and sea salt 》$10
The texture and flavour of these Brussels sprouts are outstanding. While Brussels sprouts can be bitter raw, these charred and crispy Brussel sprouts are tasty, full of crunchy goodness and perfect as a hearty side dish or a fun appetiser to share.

Instead of the usual classic braised pork rice, they have braised chicken rice here. Bite sized chunks of chicken slow cooked to perfection with white rice drenched in braised sauce that tasted more like teriyaki. Served with coleslaw and 63C sous vide egg.
The 2 sides we ordered are beancurd king (fish paste with beancurd skin) and ngoh hiang. Nothing special but just a casual meal in a neighbourhood.
Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Classic Main and Side for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P. $8.50 + $4.50 Sides)
I prefer my curry to be thick and spicy but the curry here is watery and lacks flavour. Neither does it have a distinct coconut taste in it. However, it comes with a good amount of ingredients such as chicken, potato and tau pok to keep our tummies filled. Served with a bowl of plain white rice.

Succulent and tender chicken chop with black pepper sauce which I felt was not spicy enough. It would be better if the black pepper sauce was stronger. Good for people who can’t take spiciness 》$7.20
Thick, tender and succulent pieces of chicken with lightly charred skin then topped with bonito flakes and chopped scallions. I feel that this lacks flavour or I prefer it to have a stronger teriyaki taste. Same as their braised pork rice, it wasn’t served hot. Top up $1.50 for an addition of sous vide egg 》$8 + $1.50 Sous Vide Egg
Chunks of braised pork infused with rich and savoury flavours, topped with bonito flakes and chopped scallions. While the overall was not oily compared to the usual braised pork rice outside, I find that the rice was a little on the dry side and it wasn’t served hot. Top up $1.50 for an addition of sous vide egg 》$8 + $1.50 Sous Vide Egg
on potato roesti with crème fraîche, capers, fennel & watercress salad 》$19.50

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
