Met my cousin for lunch at Hoshino which she recommends for their mouth watering deserts! The mains were rather mediocre though the portions were huge! I had the pot baked curry rice while she had the Omu soufflé. But what you "die die" must try is the pancake soufflé. It takes around 20 minutes to prepare but is well worth the wait! There is a slight crisp on the outside and is fluffy and airy on the inside despite the thickness of it. You can think of it as a thicker and upgraded version of a Macdonald hotcake ( for those that swear by Mac's hotcake would definitely adore this!) The ice cream is optional though I highly recommend you to order it as it gives the flavors a good contrast! Would definitely return back for the pancakes again!
No trip to Tokyo would be complete without visiting Tsukiji market! Our tummies had no patience to queue for the ever popular Sushi Dai, so we settled for another which had a shorter queue made up of mostly Japanese! It still took us around 45 minutes but it was definitely worth the wait! The tuna was as expected, melt in your mouth quality! But what made it for me was the Anago sushi! Lightly grilled with a sweep of the Unagi sauce! The taste was just magical!
Slices of salmon accompanied with a touch of salt and fresh wasabi! Yummy!

Good food is my greatest indulgence. And so what were they saying about calories again?
