Brunch Places :)
I must've annoyed some people with my endless ravings over BoCHINche's burger the whole of last week. I could wax lyrical about this all day: from the soft and fluffy buns religiously charred on the grill, the mandoline-ed pickles, the sautéed sundried tomatoes, to the lean ribeye pattie. So do me a favour - don't trust me. Go have a taste yourself.
boCHINche's Chimmichurri Steak Burger stole my heart. This is the second time I'm having it, and I must say it surpassed expectations. I remember enjoying it the first time, but nothing near today's sheer bliss. A lean steak pattie, topped with melted sharp provolone, bacon, pickles, caramelised onions, and that enticing sunny side up. The flavours were bombastic and rich, every ingredient doing its part. This, is now my new favourite burger.

it's so wholesome, I love this. Open faced sandwich of smoked salmon, avocado scramble, tomato corn salsa and tobiko cream on sourdough. All creamy, savoury and sucha great idea for breakfast / brunch 😋🍴

Expect a long waiting time if you don't make reservations at Artichoke, set in the compound of the beautiful Sculpture Square. If you're unfamiliar with Middle Eastern flavours, Artichoke is a great place to start. A constant delight is their Mezze Platter ($26), it's the best way to start and share a meal with your friends, alongside a hearty Lamb Shakshuka ($26). Also go for the Feta Burrata ($23) if you love all things creamy and cheesy, and do not miss out on the Bacon Chop ($10) -- a mammoth-sized slab of maple-glazed bacon! For dessert, get the delightfully sweet Baklava Sampler. There are so many outstanding dishes, so grab your family or friends because you'll want to regret nothing by trying everything.
A constant for brunch and coffee. I've been here every now and then since they opened, and I've never felt any less than completely satisfied. Scrambled eggs are always silky smooth, rich and creamy; toast is always well-buttered and flavourful; and every side I've ever ordered is always done well. I know they are sisters with The Bravery; but somehow the latter never seemed to impress. Ronin's still the place I'd recommend to those who'd like a consistent, fail-safe spot for breakfast fare.
Our favourite was the Xiao long bao which tasted like the original version, except kiap in between a croissant.
Each priced at SGD 4.50 or get a set is 2 with salad for SGD 12, the croissant may look small but pretty filling. Flaky and buttery croissants with filled with savory stuffing pretty much fulfill my calories intake.

The molten eggs were so good that they melted my heart 💕 cheese on top of runny yolks (just the way I like it), a yummy side of baby spinach (drizzled with some magical tangy sauce) and sweet cherry tomatoes! What's there not to love? Highly recommend! (Cafe aesthetic was also lovely, not too many tables around though, but the staff were really cheery and efficient! ☺️)
Classic breakfast dishes, like the Eggs Benedict, are given a Mexican street food twist. What you get is Super Loco's unique brunch menu. A most satisfying meal to end off the week #nofilter
The coffee is okay but I really enjoyed the smoked salmon and avocado sandwich. The cafe was tucked in the opposite end of Katong V if you are entering from east coast road. Wasn't too crowded for a Saturday afternoon which I like! Price point is normal (I spent around $17).
Their Ugly Sue is ugly outside but beautiful inside. The crumbly soft meringue is filled with passionfruit mousse, rolled with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
Pretty cafe, great service & yummy food. Loved all the items that I tried in this cafe. Homely, unpretentious is what makes people return :) 🌟🌟🌟🌟
You will be spoilt! The choice chosen was a buttery and flaky croissant, sandwiched with greens, savory ham and cheese! Pair the 'wich with a cuppa chai tea for a healthy and light afternoon snack! Love it!
