Please do yourself a favour and go down to have them. Not gonna bother describing because Iāll definitely cause it to lose its charm through words.
Had nasi lemak at coconut club with Coconut Rice, Chicken Leg, Ikan Bilis, Peanuts, Cucumber, Fried Egg and Sambal ($12.8). Really enjoyed the chicken leg which is marinated nicely, it is very juicy and tender while the skin is still crispy.
Reminds me of those fish fillets in our childhood canteens. Personally, fried food tastes all the same to me so...
($20). This dish takes eating clean to a whole new level. Love the crunchy zucchini pasta with tangy tomato sauce paired with āmeatāballs that is essentially an amalgamation if walnut, shiitake and dates. Used #ENTERTAINERapp 1 for 1 deal here :)
Literally popping.
Each piece of work which comes out from the kitchen is no doubt a revelation of this chefās quirky persona. Designed to resemble our local delights, this egg is but one part of the four course meal we had. Tap open the shell, pieced together by sugar, to reveal runny egg white and yolk of mango sticky rice inspiration. Shake some āpepperā and āsoy sauceā on it to flavour your eggs with sesame seeds and sauce. The sweet-sourish taste of the mango was a great accompaniment to runny white coconut whites.
Decadent, weekend treats.
This is one of my favorites in the 12-course Chinese New Year Omakase ($88++) from @FortByMaisonIkkoku. š£š£š£
You can expect other items such as miso abalone, unagi don, among others.

How can we miss out on the Skewered food at a Yakitori stall? They had interesting cut like the heart, skin and usual ones like the thigh and wings. But for those who are thinking of something less meaty, grilled shiitake mushroom was a good choice. .

The intense heat drained out the excess moisture and keep the mushroom dried. The flavor concentrated and became a mushroom boom. Earthiness rushed through the palate and tasted like meat. .

Not a bad place to chill and have a few sake.
Looks totally different from the menu. Salmon, veggies and rice. Staple Japanese meal. Simple and tasty, and pretty affordable!
The Poke Bowl wiped away all my guilt after my sinful indulgences of the other dishes. I particularly found the salmon fresh, and cashews highly addictive. Enjoyed the fact that the crowd on a weekday afternoon was light too!
Our Special Tendon ($13.90)! The deep fried veggies were naturally fragrant. So fresh were the long beans, mushroom, melon, lady's finger and baby corn. Pick them apart and there it is! You uncover that tempura half-boiled egg. Break that fragile blob to let it run over your bed of pearly white grains. If the chef's generous drizzling of sweet savoury over your rice and and again over your crisp isn't enough, there's a bottle of tendon sauce, chilli powder and sansyo for you to help yourself. I sure did. It's such umami goodness. The ebi prawns are succulent fresh; the moist chicken breasts are tender as fish. The latter could use seasoning though. The batter is light, using only Japanese flour, allowing the natural flavours to come through. It's not a greasy meal despite all the deep frying. Can't wait to try the Veggie Tendon ($12.90) next time!
