Never thought of the combination of mantou and ice cream! We like it that it's crispy and provide an interesting balance in-between the hot mantou and cold ice cream. Will definitely recommend the ice cream flavor Roasted Rice Milk Tea!
Their ice cream never disappoints 🍦🍫 😋 And getting double scoop is rly worth it too ($8 for double scoop, $4.80 for one scoop). After all these years, so glad that the taste is still consistent. Yums!
Never disappoints. Except Earl Grey Lavender is still my favourite flavour.
Quite a new concept for the lava to be in cookie instead of cake.. Each lava set comes with a scoop of ice cream on every cookie ($8.90). Chose secret garden (tea infuse flavour) ice cream on the chocolate lava cookie and Be my Valentine (white choco with strawberry flavour) ice cream on matcha lava cookie... Felt that the taste of their ice cream was kind of light and could be improved.
The Matcha Project had recently launched their Matcha soft-serve; they do have a second flavour available as well though it's currently on rotation.
The soft-serve is pretty smooth and rich in flavour; one could easily taste the aroma of the matcha used with its distinct and tastefully bitter flavour though the overall flavour is still pretty manageable without a sharp, lingering aftertaste. Should hit the matcha lovers pretty well. Opted for an additional topping of white chocolate pearls that adds a light hint of sweetness with a crunch.
Not exactly a cheese tart like the one that BAKE and others serve — this one is more egg tart-like from texture to flavour; if there is actually cheese in it probably is just a little. The tart base is pretty firm here as it is crusty but holds up well to bites into the tart while the inside reveals a jiggly and custardy egg curd that is not overwhelmingly sweet. Comes at $2 a pop, or $5.50 for three.
PS: They do seem to serve Cruffins at times that looks quite solid, and the other stuff such as the Croissant do look quite good. Drop by after lunch at Empress Food Centre just in front of Bakery Brera to take away some bread for a tea time treat!
After looking through so many pictures of oozing baguette balls, I knew I wanted to try one for myself. I enjoyed the original custard one the best, and my second fav was the red velvet. Didn't really like the chocolate and matcha red bean as they had a bit of an artificial taste.
A warning, these baguette balls are full of exploding oozing cream so get your tissues ready! Or, thread carefully by biting a small hole and sucking out the cream slowly.
Another warning is that these baguettes taste much better hot than cold. When hot, they are fluffy and crunchy. But when they cool down, the bread starts to harden and it becomes hard to bite. This makes it even messier to consume. You have been warned.

I daresay not
Do not leave the restaurant without dabbling in the {Caramel Ginger Beancurd} ($3.90). Superbly silky, this elegant dessert breaks out in song when drizzled with ginger infused caramel syrup

Crispy-outside-soft-inside airy fluffy waffle just like how I love my waffle to be done. And yes to anti-mainstream option ie. greek yoghurt 😝
Coconut Kaya Swirl, Thai Milk Tea, Salted Egg and Purple Yam
This is the Green Tea snow flake bingsu ($13.90). i strongly recommend this than the choco banana as you won't eat until halfway and feel sick of it. It still taste refreshing even after a full meal.
