It's nearing the end year and we are trying to clear as many 1-for-1 deals in @entertainersg as possible. Hence, my annual affair at my favourite Japanese beef steak restaurant. I'm still contemplating whether to get next year's due to the increase in price and my budget.

The cuts include Kiwami Karubi (beef ribs), Kiwami Loos (beef loin), Kiwami Harami (beef skirt) and Special Gyutan (beef tongue), all weighing 80g each.

Seared to perfection, best paired with condiments to get that full flavour. Tried beef tongue for the first time, glad it's not as scary as it sounds!

Sukiyaki Grade A3 Sirloin [$79] and Blackmore Ranch [$85] for the price for one! Thankful for the mini surprise by the staff at Fat Cow!

With the distinct taste of iron that a solid piece of medium-rare steak should have, and lots of beef jus to pump up the meaty flavour. Waiter advised us to go for 350g (for two pax), but I'm glad we stuck to a 175g serving because that's really good enough (amongst other dishes) for 2-3 people.

The dry rub (chef refuses to share what's in it) on this grain-fed angus is just to die for - super flavourful and tinged with smokiness from being cooked over burning coals. Paired with a fresh salsa verde and gigantic onion rings, this makes up my favourite main here. Only thing is, seeing all those juices leaking from the meat onto the plate, I'm wondering if the steak was rested long enough.

Mayura station full blood wagyu, sirloin cut. Review on prime society is up at sethlui.com

One of the best beef! Nice ambience and service. Not pocket friendly, of course

Morton's Filet mignon. Thick, very tender yet with barely any fat. Lean cut for the ladies.
