This was the first time we came
across Pork Belly Soup (猪肚汤) at a buffet! Just a little bit too salty, otherwise pretty shiok with all that peppery goodness! 😍 Available at the Penang Buffet at Princess Terrace Cafe - Copthorne King’s Hotel.
A special treat - sumptuous, weeknight Penang buffet dinner at Princess Terrace Cafe at Copthorne King’s Hotel. It’s been a long while since we were last here, wow this place was packed even on a Thursday night. These little kueh-kueh were too cute, teeny little pieces, perfect with Teh Tarik (couldn’t resist)! And this was the first time we found peppery pork belly soup at a buffet! 😋
First time at TOWN Restaurant at Fullerton Hotel, glad that the Singapore Hi-Tea buffet received the thumbs-up from both parents and the aunts. The mini nonya kueh-kueh were so colourful and cute! So much food!!
Favourite part of today's family lunch to celebrate mum's birthday 🍦🍨🍪
Bright and lively ambience, I like the open space here. Food quality is so-so, nothing to shout about. But good in a way that I'm not going crazy going for second and third rounds 😝
First time here...
A good, sumptuous mix of western and Asian selections. Choose how you want your eggs done, and the staff prepares it live at the station - warm, fresh and yummy.
The best part of a buffet is how you get to sample as wide a variety as possible, all in one seating! Soooo stuffed, but couldn't resist getting one tiny serving of each - Gula Melaka Sago, Creamy Green Bean Soup, and Yam Paste (Orh-Nee) with Coconut Cream - my fav.!
The flavour is so very subtle, but could definitely taste the malt in it. Part of the buffet lunch spread.
A small-group lunch celebration at The Straits Kitchen. Too too full...
