Hippie Cafes

Day 2! A hot day affair but not to fret, we had ice cold coffee from Maison Ikoku and ice cream sandwiches from The Providore! To fill our starving tum-tums, we had the yummy spicy chicken sliders from Maison Ikoku and the Flavourful Messy Jumbo from I am Cafe.

Cafe Fest Sg... A place where local cafes and local bands gather. I enjoyed myself at the event with good food and drinks as well as great music.Though it was not really worth it to purchase the VIP pass, i really had a good time having given the opportunity to enjoy the food from various cafes all in one place. Kudos to the organisers for coming up with this initiative though i wished that it would be better improved and worked upon next year if there will be a next year for a similar event.

I feel that this is the best place for desserts! Especially love their combinations of sweet and salted. What's better is that it's halal!

OMG this chocolate crumble croissant is the bombz. Mega love it. It was served to me warm and when I cut it opened, the chocolate was melted. Imagine my heart!!! Usually the ones that I'm served just has the lump of chocolate there. But THIS. IS. MELTED. HOLY. and the crumbles are just so crunchy. It's like crunchy and soft and chewy at the same time. Hehehe. Coffee was good, obviously.

Banana muscovado loaf with peanut butter cream and 24 Karat Brownie. Been loving their cakes since they opened a physical store a year ago. Moist and full of flavor. Yummy. Must try!!!

A smaller variant of their tarts that are bite-sized. Chocolate Tart comes with a real classy golden brushing, and the thick ganache was sweet and satisfying with the cookie-like base, while the lemon curd for the Lemon Tart was tart and refreshing as well.

Starting our day bright and early with fellow foodie friends at this hidden cafe- #WhaleNCloud whose entrance is only via the back alley! Too cool! Enjoying some lovely bakes from @kissesbakerysg too ✌️
