Love the fries here!
The Humble Burger ($5) at the new Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre featuring sio bak burgers and chicken rice burgers. Link in profile!
It felt like a bigger portion of KFC's cheese fries with added kimchi and I guess tastier fries.
Double patty and double cheese. A burger so big it was insurmountable even for me, no matter how hard I pressed it down my jaw can't dislodge to bite it whole. The burgers here are down by default to medium, which on hindsight are not approriate to their grind of beef; I bit into several stringy sinews in the almost rare middle and was quite disgusted by it.
Despite not having a hangover, I wanted this burger made out of English muffins, hash, bacon, ham, a beef patty and a sunny side up, topped with a pickle as greens and served with shoestring fries. It's decadent, fatty and satisfying. This is a place for brunch, hands down.
The double decker burger sounded good on paper but failed the impress. The seasoning of the patty seemed a little off. However the fries were done well.
The sharp taste of the purple onions totally overwhelmed the delicate beef. Bun has integrity for the single patty, but disintegrated for the double it seemed.
(not mine) Excellent for the ravenous but pricey ($25?) Place was crowded at 6pm on Saturday, with a fast-food ordering system. Cashier was perfunctory at best, probably cost her to smile. Not being racist but you'd expect Caucasian service crews to be friendlier. This hole in the wall was quite chaotic, go when you have patience.
This is the 3P burger we 3 girls split 3ways. (yes I cut the burger with 3 strokes!)
The buns are not stellar, but the juicy mess a delight for sharing.
A messy eat that is guaranteed to satisfy any meat cravings.
How about some cute piggy pork chop burger with eggs and kopi to start your day?
