Drain 1 can tuna in brine and place in a mixing bowl. Add 4 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 cup seedless red grapes, and 1 medium white onion, minced. Season to taste with pepper; mix well. To assemble, put 2 lettuce leaves on the bottom half of a baguette. Spread 3 to 4 spoonfuls of tuna salad. Marinate 3/4k fish in 3/4 tbsp calamansi juice, 1/2 tsp iodized salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper for 15 minutes. Fry in oil until golden brown. Set aside. Saute 4 cloves crushed garlic, 1 medium sliced onion, 2 medium cubed potatoes, and 1 medium cubed carrot. Add 3/4 cup water and 1/2 tsp iodized salt. Simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add 1/3 cup green peas and 200g tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add fish and 1 medium green bell peppers cut into strips. Easy Sweet and Sour Pork. Marinate 1/2kilo pork in 2 tbsp liquid seasoning for at least 10 minutes. Dredge pork in 1 cup cornstarch. Deep-fry and drain excess oil in paper towels. Set aside. Saute 2 cloves minced garlic in oil. Add 2 medium sliced red bell peppers. Add 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 1/2 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp butter. Simmer until butter is melted. Mix well. Add fried pork. Baked Fish in Gata. Preheat oven to 400•f. Slice 2 lemons into rounds and arrange at the bottom of a baking pan. Season fish with salt and pepper, place on top of lemons. Top with bell pepper strips. Dissolve 1 pack #Knorr ginataang gulay mix in 3/4 cup hot water. Pour dissolved mix over fillets. Bake for ten to twelve minutes. Beef and Mushroom Bolognese. Cook 375g pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water for 10 to 12 minutes, following package directions. Drain well. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a medium frying pan on high. Saute 1 piece chopped onion. Brown 1/2 kilo ground beef for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up lumps with the back of a spoon as it cooks. Add 150g button mushrooms, finely chopped, and cook, stirring, for another 4 to 5 minutes, until mushrooms are tender. Add 1 chopped carrots. Stir in 575g tomato pasta sauce and bring to a boil. Cheeseburger and Bell Pepper Pasta. In a pan, saute 1 green and 1 red bell peppers in a small amount of butter. Add 200 g prepared burger patties (pprecooked, fried). Add 1 200g pack pinoy style tomato sauce and cook for a minute or two. Add 125g grated cheese and 250g penne pasta (cooked, al dente). Makes 4 servings. Fistek. Season 1/2k fish fillet then dredge in flour. Shake off excess and deep-fry in oil until brown. Sweat 2 onions sliced into rings in oil then add 1/2 liter water. Bring to simmer and add soy sauce and 1 pc fish cubes. Add the fish fillets and sugar then reduce sauce until desired consistency. Add calamasi juice to taste and serve. Chicken and Pumpkin Noodle Soup. In a large saucepan, bring 1 1/2 liter chicken stock to a boil. Add 250g uncooked elbow macaroni and cook until al dente. Drain, reserve stock, and set pasta aside. In the same saucepan, melt 2 tbsps butter and saute 1/2 cup diced onions until translucent. Add 1/2 cup diced celery, 1 cup diced carrots, and 1 cup diced pumpkin; saute until slightly tender. Add 2 chicken thigh fillets, diced, and continue cooking for one more minute. Pour in stock and simmer until vegetables are completely cooked. Toss in cooked pasta and heat until warmed through.
