Le Cheng Kampong Hainanese Chicken Rice

The Kampung chicken rice was delicious, with tender chicken and aromatic rice cooked to perfection. The spicy chili sauce added a nice kick, while the fresh cucumber slices provided a refreshing contrast.

Mega ice lemon tea was also a nice thirst quencher

the food here was delicious! they have a wide variety of dishes. we had the white pepper chicken soup, hot plate tofu, kang kong, sotong, and chicken rice. the highlight of our meal was definitely the chicken soup which was really fragrant and tasty!

Chanced upon an air conditioned Hainan chicken rice stall that served zichar stalls as well. Had the half kampong chicken. Salted egg sotong, and dougan with braised egg. Chicken was fragrant and tender. Sotong was delicious and the batter fried perfectly.
Enjoyable meal overall

I think the portion of the half kampung chicken is really generous and the meat is really tender. Had a really fulfilling meal for 2!

Came on a Monday night and food came very fast upon ordering. Ordered half kampung chicken, hot plate tofu and cereal prawns. Kampung chicken was surprisingly tender and flavourful, love the chilli too! Cereal prawns were deshell and generous in amount. Hot plate tofu was decent as well. Overall, friendly staffs, good atmosphere and very tasty chicken rice place to visit for family gatherings.

Came here recently for dinner on a weekday. Staff was prompt to receive us and brought us to our seats. We ordered half kampung chicken, hotplate tofu and cereal prawns. The chicken was juicy, tender yet lean and the sauce gave it even more flavour. Cereal prawns was crispy and I liked that it was already shelled. Tofu was normal but at least the sauce isn't too salty which tend to be the case elsewhere. Overall, I would visit again and recommend this place!
