Check out this traditional kampong style Chicken rice with 25 years of hainanese family-run restaurant. A Hidden gem located in Singapore near Kembangan mrt station!

Must get their really old school style Kampong Chicken 🐓, Taiwanese Salted Braised duck, White pepper Chicken Hotpot Soup and pair them with their sweet potato porridge✨ My personal bias is the Salted Vege Pork Belly 💯😍

Bring your family there for a wave of Nostagia✨

I looooved everything about this place!!! rice was fragrant and the must-gets are definitely the omelette and the kampung chicken! heard their claypot soup was good too but didn’t get a chance to order. will be back again soon!

Chicken was fresh and succulent, and the rice was very fragrant!!!

The meicai was also fresh, with generous amount of lor bak!

Went here for dinner on a weekday. Ordered the Kampung Chicken Rice, Hainanese Claypot Mutton soup, Cereal Fried Squid and the Chai Poh Omellete. All of the dishes were really good. The chicken and squid were fresh. Other than the food, I would like to mention that the service was amazing too! The staffs were very polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. 10/10 recommended!

Had a great meal at this chicken rice place along Changi Road! The menu offers an excellent range of food choices for you to choose from.

The Chicken Rice truly live up to their name. It was truly a match made in heaven pairing their home made chilli sauce and ginger. The soup was also very addictive to drink. My favourite dish would be the 铁板豆腐 or hotplate eggtofu ! the thickness of the sauce paired with the egg, tofu and vege were mouthwateringly good. (hands down would go back to eat)

We also ordered a plain omelette but did not expect it to be smaller than expected haha. The vegetables and mushrooms were also great when paired with the chicken rice. We ended up ordering even more food which was the har cheong gai which is prawn paste coated fried chicken and it was SO SO SO delicious.

Overall, the dishes were paired nicely and they complement each other. The whole meal was like chicken rice but with zichar vibes. the staff were really friendly and helpful as it was our first time there.

Though one note would be that the homemade barley wasn’t to my liking as i prefer mine sweeter so i ended up purchasing a green tea can afterwards.

Would most definitely come back and bring my family and friends!

One thing that really stands out here is the service. Staff are attentive, gave us everything we needed. We requested for different sauces and condiments and they were so patient with us.

I strongly recommend the half kampong chicken as the meat is succulent and tender. The meat used is definitely fresh and overall an enjoyable meal.

Chicken soup was not too salty and compliments the whole experience.
