Black Forest Cake (1/2 kg - $68) I felt that the cake was quite moist and not that strong cherry taste tbh. The cake melted quite fast and it's better to put inside the fridge after self collection or delivery.
After trying the baby Pure Chocolate ($11.90) some months back, I ordered the Upsized 500g Pure Chocolate Cake ($75).
Unlike the baby version which is all mousse, this one has a layer of sponge cake as the base. Milk Chocolate level 50%+ kind of sweet.
Yes it’s a good chocolate mousse cake but a little *ouch* on the price tag
*Note: my taste palate leans towards dark bitter chocolate at a sweet spot of 65%-72% cocoa. So please use that as a gauge of my taste perspective.
Have been here a few times and I absolutely love the chocolate soufflé. Today’s visit was disappointing. Was there at about 2.55pm, it was a quiet afternoon. 8 out of the 15 seats were used by the staff to wrap hampers. Two tables (out of 3) were almost done with their food. Staff told us to come back later, didn’t bother to take down our numbers or suggest we wait outside. (So if we come back in 5 min and the newly vacated table is occupied it’s a too bad situation?). Asked for the menu, staff pointed at the board with no explanation (so do they not have a menu anymore or just no menus in the day?). Service staff said the chocolate soufflé was not available and I had to ask when would it be (7pm), then we asked if they had the chocolate lava cake to which she replied, “not available” in her couldn’t care less attitude. There was nary a smile nor hint of apology of this (or any of the staff’s) face so I can only conclude they weren’t interested in serving us today. It’s such a shame because I really love their sorbets and chocolate soufflé. :(
Lola (left) for me was a disappointment. At $11.80, it tasted flat and lifeless for a chocolate sponge-layered cake.
Pure Chocolate (right) was a chocolate mousse encased in a dark chocolate cream. This is a good cake with a rich but not jer-lat feeling, hallmarks of a good balanced chocolate mousse cake. At $11.80, it’ll a tad painful on the wallet. But good quality comes at a price.

Skip the lava cake and order the choc souffle with choc sauce, you're welcome. :)
When this soufflé came floating to our table, I could have sworn I saw several pairs of eyes instantly pivot towards us. And justifiably so.
This masterpiece of a chocolate soufflé ($16.50) is insanely fluffy with just enough jiggle, and a crisp edge to create just enough of a bite (my favourite part!). The inside are served piping hot and lusciously soft — with a dark, not overly sweet flavour. Perfect for dark choco lovers.
Go solo or paired with an additional scoop of ice cream (+$6.00) — I’d go without — this is probably one of the priciest soufflés on the market, but it’ll leave you feeling like a million bucks 🤗
